@@PMSchaft got mine yesterday, the leather is a bit softer although both shoes are identical and I wouldn't say its oversoft. It sounds like one of yours possibly has some QC issue. I had a similar issue with the Run the Jewels, one side was completely soft and felt like it had no support. BTW I just entered my local skate shop raffle for the Futura! hahah pretty much zero chance of winning those but wish me luck:)

I have a friend who have the same problem with the leather on his SB chicago too. The toe box has creased the first time he put the shoes like it was already creased (excuse if i made some mistakes in my English im french)

Is it just my pair or the red leather bleeds like crazy? Had a lot of red “staines” on the top of the toebox next to tongue after just 1 wear…luckily they were easy to remove with water 😅
If they're not on SNKRS, the only possible way to buy retail would be your local Skateshops, otherwise stock x will be the only option which is sadly expensive.
My 2024 from Denmark have curved tongues just like your court purple. Only straight tongues I have are white/ black gums and tightbooth. I do notice a difference between your two but I wonder if and elastic band could make your chicago tongue curl like your Purples. Good review agree white and black laces both great but white is SO CLEAN

Btw on the leather: noticeably thinner on some of these pairs and QC is super bad. Have been through 3 pairs directly from Nike, sent em back due to errors in back tab placement, swoosh placement (so off that they looked fake) and the leather feeling so flimsy and thin one, was not right at all. Since then been through another 2 from ebay (authenticated) trying to find a decent one. Thr variance in swoosh placement between pairs is alarmingly big. Noticed this is becoming more common with SB dunks, its a lottery now to get a decent pair without a tonne of errors and that's not even mentioning the glue stains. Good luck to anyone who wants a decent pair without a bunch of glaring QC errors. 1 out of 5 isn't great chances. Fix up Nike!
Turned out the soft flimsy leather was really the type of leather they used here. I thought mine was a flaw. I was planning to buy a 2nd pair but due to comments here i did not.
Unfortunately I might I have to grab these on stock x. No restocks here in the US. I may sell my red cement 4s and grab these with that money instead. Unless someone has a size 12 for me… haha

I got mine today, and they are very nice. The leather is very soft and appeared to be a good quality. They fit true to size to me.
Ok so it's really consistent. The Court purple is a bit stiffer though.
