Things like trees without leaves, chunks missing, weird terrain generation, etc, all tend to happen at this time. When Minecraft gets an update, this can mess with the generation of a world that you already made. As for the theory about him being Notch’s dead brother, this is fake. Notch does have a half brother who he rarely visits, but he is still very much alive. Mat Pat did a video on this you can check out.

Everytbing a kid could enjoy and also they are surprisingly dark sometimes. The animations they do are a little wacky and nothing will look super cinimatic in Minecraft but they do such a good job at world building and character development the writing is impeccable. Wish they had more subs although admittedly I haven’t watched em in years :(

I think that’s a great idea! Someone should implement that idea into the game. Kind of like the Baritone bot but I disappears and doesn’t really interact directly with the player just messes with the world, maybe even breaks a block under you making you fall into lava or making an anvil fall on you from seemingly nowhere. Notch found this joke funny and started to tease the community by adding "Removed Herobrine". and the first picture of herobrine was just a retextured door. Notch even claimed he has no brother.

Obviously hero brine has lore. I guess that us, the player, steve, was reincarnated over and over. That explains why the zombies look like steve, random build spawns, and more dead mobs. For real, I bet most of the herobrine stuff was staged and that one screenshot could have been a glitched Steve skin with its eyes cut out bc the screenshot was all the proof that was given and I’m not saying it is staged bc I don’t think it is, but that screenshot could have been staged as well. But your theory sounds fun to ponder or write a book about! A video game character gaining sentience and wanting to exact revenge on the people that ruined them… bc I’ve never seen a trope like that before! (For legal reasons that was a joke)
Herobrine has one purpose: to avenge the brainless, floppy players that could be spawned by pressing G in older versions
I think its confirmed that Notch only added "removed herobrine" as a joke, plus he already said that there was never a herobrine in the game

I think that’s a great idea! Someone should implement that idea into the game. Kind of like the Baritone bot but I disappears and doesn’t really interact directly with the player just messes with the world, maybe even breaks a block under you making you fall into lava or making an anvil fall on you from seemingly nowhere. You’d be constantly on edge!

fun fact The second instance of Herobrine being spotted was actually so the guy could get more attention he changed the textures of a painting and then put it in his house in a certain configuration so that it would look believable and then he acted like he never Cena painting there in the first place so that his "Herobrine spotting" could seem more believable

He Is In The Game Or Was Because When I Was Really Young Playing Minecraft On The PS3 I Built A Herobrine Shrine Or Spawner And After A While I Built A House On Ice And There Was A Lava Lake Near By But Not Enough Trees To Burn My House Down It Was Also To Far To Spread And Then I Went To Check On The Spawner And Like Usually Nothing So I Thought It Was Fake Then I Left The Cave And My House On Fire But In The Little Time It Couldn't Spread And It Shouldn't Have Burned Down Most Of The House But Most Of It Was Burned Down Many Years Later I Was Playing With My Little Brother On The PS4 And We Where Messing Around With Water And Where Building A Cloud In The Sky But Out Of No Where Water Source Blocks Appeared And I Was Thinking It Was A Leak Because There Was Water On The Cloud But No Leak And Sponges Didn't Work It Would Only Remove The Water It's Placed On Instead Of A Area The Last Incident That Happened Was I Was Playing Minecraft Again By My Self On The PS4 And Multiplayer Was Off But I Went Mining I Left The Cave It Was Night I Went Back To The Cave After Almost Dieing But I Only Was In There To Heal Wich Takes Not Long But Then I Left And It Was The Middle Of The Day In Less Than 2 Minutes And Randomly Mobs Would Spawn More Than Normally It Was On Easy Mode But The Mobs Would Spawn More Than On Hard So Completely Strange But So Far Nothing Major Has Happened But Mobs Do Spawn More Every So Often But I Feel Like I'm Still Haunted

Bro he’s not played 11 years ago because the very first ever herobrine is caught in 2010
They had to "Remove Herobrine" in *several* versions and eventually stopped listing it. This implied briefly to the creepypasta community that Herobrine _keeps coming back_ and has to be removed explicitly from _every version_ but when they *stopped* removing him he could once again infest copies of the game. Ergo, he's "back" now. But the story fell out of favor.

So something that is really really weird and actually makes me believe that hero brine was a thing was that me and my brother had a two player Minecraft world that we played split screen on, I decided to make the iron door trap(this was like 6 years ago) I made the trap to see what animals we could catch in them but every time we went to sleep in the game I would check the traps to see what was in them and somehow beds, ores and other random items that can’t normally be dropped by mobs were appearing in them, I know it wasn’t my brother because even for a couple days I wouldn’t take my eyes off his side of the screen but I would still check the traps and there would be items in them… I have no way to explain what was happening

When i was young i saw a flash of lightning, 3 seconds later there he was on a skeloton horse
They forgot to remove Herobrine in the current update. Also, I think it’s possible he could be a Bugster that infected the game’s code.
My theory: Herobrine was just a normal human being. He helped other people, he farmed some vegetables every once and a while and other stuff. Then one day, he saw a player kill every animal in his house, and who was that player you may ask? It was steve. Then after that steve planted tnt around Herobrine's house while herobrine was still in it. You know what happened next, herobrine died. Herobrine was revived but was more powerful than before. He was seeking revenge by messing with the player's world, giving the player curses (often dying or something) and sometimes scares the player for fun

Theory: Herobrine was a human (the first Minecraft mob) and then when Notch added zombies to the game they infected all the humans except one, blind Steve. A zombie tried to infect Blind Steve but accidentally bit his hand instead of infecting him. He died of poison later, then became a ghost and got the name Herobrine.

Herobrine was never real, but Notch saw this as an opportunity to scare the players, he soon made the discs and made the whole theory about Herobrine to keep the game going on its lure.

The first screenshot was not clear as it was posted brfore the relesased date of the reason,meaning it was fake.The second one is just a texter the livestreemer confessed that it was just a Texture pack.he found another player but it was not herobrine,it was called 'two white eyes' the player said "I can't take it anymore' or something.the playwr said that he saw 2 white eyes appearing everywhere he went he also said that he knew that its always watching him.every move. He (Jordan) hired a Profesoinal Artist . The artist Sent him 2 photos of his imagination 1 photo showed a weird black Spider-player type with 2 white eyes.the other photo showed the same Spider-player but half of it showed herobrine sitting.The artist knew that Jordan wanted to know about herobrine.The artist sent him a link,the link was about 'two white eyes' expect the last line said that 'the player got kicked out of his world for a few hours' then he explained how herobrine looked like.soon jordan Decided to make a world about Herobrine trying to see if he is real or not. Obviously hero brine has lore. I guess that us, the player, steve, was reincarnated over and over. That explains why the zombies look like steve, random build spawns, and more dead mobs. I think in one of his lives, he was a hero, which explains the “hero part”, but something happened where he turned bad, which explains the eyes. There’s more to be uncovered, I’m sure.
