In this video, I show you how to defeat Creus aka the grand solar knight in balanced craftwars overhaul. In order to reach creus the grand solar knight, you will need to craft the Helio Vasilis teleporter within the furniture tab. Creus is a tier 2 boss, and should be fought around the same time as A.R.E.S, HvUH and Temple of Riches

Side note: since aurium set needs his loots, I'd recommend pairing up with someone who uses irradium gear. Fat man deals nice damage and photon saber can parry at close quarters(if you're too unlucky to get wind dancer) and minigun if you can hit him far away. Overall nice video and I wanna see how you tackle A.R.E.S
A.R.E.S is easier than creus, just spam summons.

@xshdon_noob I realized a while ago he doesn't, but when a player or companion dies solar knight mocks them.
all you really need is special steak and the wind rider and glide around dodging and spam steak wtih natures garland and that one moon crown thing fron the night and it works
You can cripple creus by luring him to the other side in the 'donut' shaped center, since it has a barrier, take advantage of that by luring creus into the hole, and go to the inverted side.
how to solo crues
step 1 tired of dying to him no matter what? simple.
step 2: grind for the lanite armour and dematerializer
step 3: equip melee accesorys perferably basilisk scarf
step 4: remove all equipment summons ECT
step 5: abuse the blitzer move and die until you kill him
you can make this 100% easier and just solo it with special steak (griffin summon from tor) then get decent summoner accessories.
this is what i used
- irradium armor
- wind rider
- natures garland
- tome of summoning
- engineers inspiration
- summoners insignia
- sigil of evocation
all you need to do is dodge while summoning griffins, you spawn 2 at a time and they have enough hp to keep him distracted while you wait for the cooldown

you can beat him even after atlas
you just need synodic turrets(not protectors) and titanstone spell book while spinning around the map
use accessories that increase your summon to 3

Can I use synodic transfigurator?
I just noticed that synodic trans can spawn Syno turrets but it doesn’t work
you can do this without the aurium gear, but you need staff of life and also after you beat Creus
I recommanded make Pocket Sun first so you can easily solo him
not very easily but atleast it will be 2x faster

does summoner class stand a chance? he looks really hard to fight cause im a summon main
(for yall who struggle when he gets close, i RECOMEND the "glacial greatsword" X ability, when used it launches you at the direction where you are looking, and it also has a decently short cd. Pair that with the wings and youre basically flying)

Duranite armour doesn’t work because every time it tanks an attack Creus think you used I-frame.

You can actually beat Creus with pretty much a full summoner build. Just summon them ahead before he spawns to deal extra damage.
My Set:
- Special Steak
- Duranite Turret Mk2
- ARES Pod bcuz why not
- Wind Rider
- Atrocitus' Rage
Accessory:
- Nature's Garland
- Moonlight Medallion
- Engineer's Inspiration
- Summoner's Insignia
- Watchful Storm
The trick is to lure him near the middle and go to the opposite side of where he is using any means (wo/ s ofc), so he gets stuck there and can't chase after you. Then just summon whatever summons you got and continue. If he gets unstuck then try another side.
If you die, try and figure out where he is and get to the opposite of him asap. He will kill you if too slow.
if you're trying to run away from Creus, atrocitus's rage is literally the best, gives the same speed as sea's revenge and zero shield so he doesn't heal
wind dancer + holy spirit summons, pure/corrupt+ (or astral, irradium and aurium. never duranite as it heals him)
just sit from afar, spam a.r.e.s missile pod or hold wind dancer and let your synodic protector and holy spirits do the work, or even try energy of avarice but idk about that

besides aether curse only works on angelic/void+
I soloed him around this stage of the game by getting him stuck on the other side of the pit (Still had to dodge attacks, just not run away) with this Summoner build
- Special Steak (Weapon)
- Fishy Treat (Equipment, not sure if it even helped, used like a weapon)
- Atrocitus’ Rage (Equipment)
- Astral Armor + Helmet
- Moonlight Medallion (Accessory)
- Duranite Turret MK2 (Weapon)
- Engineer’s Inspiration (Accessory)
- Nature’s Garland (Accessory)
- Staff of Life (Weapon, used as a healing item)
- Relic of Avarice (Back Accessory)

Just wanted to say this because I beat him with Titanstone gear solo.
Hes actually really easy when you get him stuck on the other side of the centre pit because he cant get to you and then its just shooting him for a few minutes.

I used pure armour matrix accelerator titanstone potion and atrocitus rage nothing else because all my accessories were aether cursed at that time

Guys u can use Matrix accel it does a massive DMG ( consumer fang req )

totally not a guide for players who aren’t at endgame
matrix is kinda bad with 1.5k damage at like 0.3s but its very good with the Z ability that reduce 99% of the damage, add on with that just cheese creus with the lanite dematrilizer, bring some summon to aid you too, i recommend using the supersonic tracer and wing
you can absolutely shred this boss with matrix accelerator and take like 2 hits
btw it’s solo as well

A.R.E.S weapons dont work on Creus his Aurium armour would just consume it and heal him
he only heals off invulnerability frames

when i try to use summons or above of the damned it just wont appear, can someone explain to me why does that happens?? ( it just dosent appear on my inv but it appears as equipped.

Creus is effected by a thing called "the aether curse". Basically main path items (light/dark) do not work. Assuming your using pure casters, angels, blob of flesh or void dwellers, this should be why your items are getting deleted. This also effects adobe of the damned. You should try to get a griffin summon from killing griffins in temple of riches as they work on alt path dungeons 👍

immunity frames, basically while they are active you can't take any damage. They normally last for less than a second

No, I’d recommend you get astral/irradium tier gear first

Use Lanite Dematerializer because it don’t have any plus it have good damage when Come to use it ability, X ability do the biggest damage to him and will be recommend by a lot but use all sort of ability that is ready to use again at the Blade.

can someone tell me what excatly is ?
it's short for invincibility frame. for example:
you spawn with a blue forcefield in some Roblox games. The forcefield gives you invincibility for a short time.
Is A.R.E.S turret mk2 and holy armor good enough for him, I have relic of avarice and i have around 1200 HP
craftwars. this is my megadeath. not knowing why you progress in such a way.
aka stacks and terraria are better lol L bozo + ratio + L + W for me
