The greatest learning lesson about this business is that 90-95 percent is psychology and 10-5 percent is fundamental and technical. You are trading people's opinions about an instrument. I do not care what type of market you are in or the technique you use, you trading people's thoughts (buyer or seller). This business also shows who you are, mentally. It will show what type of person you are when it comes to risk. It will show how secure or unsecured you are about your decisions. It will show if you are really serious or not. It will show if you are willing to learn or not. In a nutshell, this is a serious business and not a game. Today people are coming into business trying to get rich overnight and their greed is my gain. Lastly, you are on point keep it up young blood.
on top of all that its the 10% that never quit, imagine how many give up after a few months to a year. this sht is not rocket science i truly believe if you never give up you will eventually become consistent literally, everyday working on your craft its inevitable that you make money but thats the part not everyone will do you really have to develop a passion for this to get through the rough patches because if not you will give up and also your why has to be huge.
My friend who trades options was telling me about a guy who had a trading mentor who was in her late 60s. She would garden while she was in her trades. She was averaging $5 million a month. No age limit to this game.

S/O, this was enlightening.
