Would love to see a no nonsense Wireless headphone review for what just sounds the best regardless of ANC. For those who cannot use it (I cannot as it causes me severe debilitating pain) ANC is pointless to me and I would rather not have to pay more for it as I would just need to completely disable it (something it seems these and the Momentum 4 share in common that you cannot disable ANC) but would prefer not to have it in the first place as I'm just paying for a feature I (and many others) cannot use. Would a review like this be possible? I loved the sound of the Sennheiser sound (way more than Bose or Sony) but all of them the ANC killed my inner ear and brain.... the pain is extreme.
Just wonder if the next iteration or cheaper versions coming down the pipeline over there in France will stick with their magnificent tuning?!? We’ll see??? Honestly though I would like to see Focal challenge Apple’s AirPod Max while Focal keeping all tuning intact while lowering the quality of materials to justify a $550 price range maximizing materials respectively.
Very disappointed Vanessa didn't drag out a diving bell to test underwater performance. UNSUBSCRIBED. 🙃 Kidding aside, I don't have trypophobia and like the look of these (Focal has nice aesthetics befitting a higher-end audio company). Looks like good performance across the metrics I care about. A little above my price range, but if they come down a bit on any kind of sale or refurbished then I might go for a pair. 🤔 On a side note, that red Smeg toaster in the background is a scene stealer (Morpheus-Vanessa: "...or were you looking at the red toaster?"). I kind of want one now (in beige), though a ~$50 Cuisinart is probably better at actually toasting. EDIT: I just found the Rtings R&D channel and video/article on toasters 😎 That Smeg toaster seems good, just pricey.
Hahaha we'll have to install an underwater tank for future underwater performance measurements 😂 Glad you enjoyed the review though and that you checked out our toasters video! Like these headphones, the Smeg is nice but pricey for sure!
4:40 at loud volumes and for "trained" listeners. Given that the human ear/brain hears less bass the lower the volume then isnt the harmon curve a poor choice for anyone wanting ANC headphones for their ANC ability to allow you to listen at low volumes? It results in near zero bass. Maybe I am odd wanting to listen at conversational volumes but still wanting the full range in music?
I demoed these against the PX8 and H95 among lots of others. I wasn't sold on them, the sound with ANC inside a store just wasn't better at all than average (in my demo in that sound environment), plus the visual design... It looks so cheap and nasty. I ended up getting the PX8 and later the H95 also. I constantly change my mind on which of them I prefer but they both have excellent sound in noisy environments. Both too hot though ;(
Bonjour. Merci
I thought I was having a stroke at the beginning.
😂😂
Your french is perfect.
Merci!
French intro was great. I thought found a French audio review channel.
I switched from these to a pair of DALI IO-12. To me the sound quality increase is as significant as the price increase👍👍
The New Deep black color look super !!

Awesome headphones. Good review too. Am I the only one that notices the slight resemblance to the main character of turning red?😂
Great review video and love mine😀😍

Harman curve is loved by the hearing-damaged,too. 😂

The actual competition to Bathys are actually Bowers and Wilkins PX8, B&O H95 or even mark n levinson no5905
Nice review but what's with the red ribbons in your hair?
I thought this was gonna be a French video and almost clicked off
@1:14 Damn lady, you have big hands! 🙌🤣
Mais non, je blague! 😊

I'm confused by intro 😂
