2 Stems of Bleached Italian Ranunculus
2 Salal Leaves

if making these a day before an event, what's the best way to store overnight to keep them fresh? Should they be kept in some shallow water?
Great question! I usually make them the day before and use this bout hack to keep them fresh. I also put them in a fridge, but it's not required to maintain freshness (unless you're in a really hot season, temperature). www.bloomcultureflowers.com/diy-flower-blog/protip/bouthack

You can use glue gun first
there really is no need to use a glue gun. The hot glue (on fresh flowers) can make them wilt. If you are using faux flowers then have at it!
