This is called “Holding company discount” in finance. Holding companies always trade at a discount to the investments they hold. This is same for bajaj holdings, grasim, tata investments etc. this discount would always be there so better to focus on the business model than to reduce the current market cap with the market cap of underlying shares
Company has Major shares from reliance n its subsidiaries, in case any money crunch company can't exercises its power to sell shares, its will be all useless in emergency , consider it as dummy funds not real.

I just checked. I think you have to recalculate the figures. Reliance is just 70k crores. And mcap is @327rs per share- 2 lac crores.
Same as eidparry owns 63 percent of coromandal international which has marketcap of 48000 crores but eidparry has only 13000 crores market cap .
