    • @SimpleTek
      @SimpleTek  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Ciaran Walsh there's good and bad things. I find the windows need to be replaced, but that's mostly cause where I live it gets to -40' with huge winds. it didn't have very good quality windows to start with. Replaced a few already. The roof is good, walls are well insulated. only 2x4 but with styrofoam so they are every warm. The siding is wood and needs to be painted every few years - going to change that to final siding soon. overall, I'd give it a "C" - functional but could be better.

    Is the house easy to move to another location if you decide to leave?

    • @SimpleTek
      @SimpleTek  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      depends on how you set it up I guess. My personal opinion is they are not designed to be moved very often. Like any mobile home, more will happen the more you move it.

    What is meant by "4 by 2" and "6 by 2"?

    • @SimpleTek
      @SimpleTek  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dick Head thickness of the lumber in the walls. The house has 4 inch wide walls, most here are 6 inch wide for more insulation, thus less heating costs.
