I am really hooked on this game. When I think I am going to quit, I remember there is something else I need to do and then get absorbed for another 4 hours.
I've been playing it and it has grown on me. I enjoy the openness. I don't generally care what controversies there are for it. I just enjoy playing and exploring
The best part of this game imo is the accessibility/custom difficulty options that can really cut down on the grind. Late game exp balance requires severe catch grinding and being able to ameliorate that at your leisure in order to experience the rest of the game easier is great.
The only thing I know about openworld games is the amount of items you can't carry. In the old web game Dawn of Dragons I (and everybody else) went for energy and stamina, cause that is for actions you can do. In Palworld I would go for weight for some levels and hope to survive :P
What are YOUR thoughts on Palworld so far?
I love the absolute based devs that made this game for very honest reasons while actually making a functional and fun product.
I'm big on my Survival games and Palworld really scratches that itch and a lot more. Get a flying mount ASAP it will change everything for you :)
The merger of two genres is amazing
I bought it but haven't played yet. My son and I both played a lot of Ark so this does look really fun.

Pal world is surprisingly very fun. Plus it's surprisingly stable and hardly buggy
I'm pleasantly surprised at how good the game is. I've really been enjoying it more than I thought I would.
I thought I would not like this game, but I really enjoy it!
