Great vid and a little tip, NEVER use the ali manuals lol if it's a Lego replica, always use the Lego site/app. Only time U struggle is if the set has a specialized piece that knockoffs can't copy
@Lego_ManCave3 Yeah - disaster! Learned that lesson haha! The Diner one was perfect tbh but this one not so much haha

I had those horrific heads in my palace theatre set lol. I'd still put custom faces on instead of them 1s tbh
@Lego_ManCave3 Yeah I'm actually not a fan on the Smiley faces at all. Probs cuz I don't have nostalgia being new at lego. I much prefer the expression faces so I'm probably gonna switch these heads out even though they done well :)
@@CocoCity yeah them faces are good for simple figs like construction or in the city where U see the body but not face when placed.

I just grabbed the Nostromo with refinery set from Aliexpress. There was some wonky going on with the delivery, where it said it was delivered but it had not been. I got that sorted out and finally got the bricks. They were supposed to email me a PDF of the instructions but that never showed. I E-mailed them and they sent me the PDF or so I thought. I had to start a new account with an online sharing service to open it, and it turned out to be just part 1 of the instructions. I am waiting for a response on this issue. Gods help me if I have this many problems with the build itself and missing pieces. I'll check back and let everyone know how this all turns out. I've had good sets from Ali before but you just never know how things will turn out.

@@CocoCity I have to give them credit--this entire time they have responded to my e-mails the day I have sent them. I got all 4 books of instructions a few hours after I left the post above. Really, they could have just cut off communication and what could I do? They followed through at every step and every problem. Now I just have to build it! Here's hoping the problems stop here and I have a good build. Keep these videos coming!
Hello Joshy, I liked your product review. I'm lucky to I bought original Dedective house. But your build so close to original one. I think, people shouldn't obbessed with the brand. There are very good Chinese Brick Brand. One of them is Rael. I can highly recommend it to you. They are copying buildings from Brickative. I bought Rael 10004 Bike Shop, Rael 10003 Ice Cream Shop. They were amazing build. Last my highly recommend was "Zhegao QL-0924 - Old Tavern" Again it comes from Brickative. Zhegao's brick quality is not good as much as Rael but building is amazing. It is Prague. When I built these products, my view changed about Lego. Brickative builds are magnificent. Have a nice day.
