In my opinion Go Go music died when 2 of the true pioneers well actually 3 of the true pioneers passed away. Footz, Little Benny and Chuck Brown. After those 3 passed away I left Go Go alone because now Go Go ain't what it used to be ya dig.
Don't get me wrong I use to bounce in the clubs with all of the go go bands back in the 90 and that was go go. Now in this age of time they are confuse when they say RE crank😢 that's sad and they say RE is better than Donnell Floyd band they wrong again and to be honest with you the reason why familiar faces is the number one band is because they hit old shit no other go go band hits I should know I did security with the go go bands and the music in D.C. is gone I would not waste my money .RIP Chuck and Benny they where the real legends of gogo. One Love.
Horn section is nice, but they really need to pick up the tempo a bit. That style of gogo is pretty much dead. Even the old heads are tired of it. That's why in this video they wasn't making much noise.
