Just my opinion, but this rom does feel better to me than the old TouchWiz interface from back in the day. TouchWiz never really aged well, which is why I like the Lineage OS ROM more. Nonetheless, the Lineage ROM is not a bug-free experience, as the Galaxy Tab 2 series is generally no longer supported from both Samsung or the modding community. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to your question. Another user had the same model as you did, and I could not find any sort of LineageOS files for your device. The most ironic thing is that LOS 14.1 on this tablet is actually running better than stock, somehow. And remember, this tab was running android 4! and Lineage brings it up to 7! (also, that LOS 14.1 ROM was made in 2020. So, someone had a little too much time on their hands. 🤣)
There are some Asus devices that do have Lineage OS download files on their download website. Though, idk if any of them are tablets... They may be all phones, but there's still a chance download.lineageos.org/
If this is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, chances are that there are no Lineage OS files for this device. At the time of filming this video, files for the Galaxy Tab 2 and 3 series were there, but none for the original tab series, unfortunately

Hai Sofia! First off, thank you! Even though it's not really a tutorial. I actually followed a tutorial that I showed in the video 😅 Secondly, if your device is compatible with Lineage OS and Samsung Odin, you should obtain similar results, in terms of installing Lineage OS over to your device. However, 500 MB of RAM is not a lot... Even for back then. Your performance from that device will be SEVERELY limited. At least this is from my personal experience. Hi CJ, yes, I did turn off auto reboot in Odin. After Odin successfully flashed TWRP, I did a manual reboot from there. I personally haven't experienced any problem after modifying my Tab 2 7.0 and Galaxy S3, also. IF you're having an error in TWRP, try an older version. Hope this helps! Reply if you need more help! Thank you stopping by the channel! If you're going back to the original android system recovery instead of TWRP, try turning off auto-restart in Samsung Odin. It should be an option on one of the tabs. After that, use Samsung Odin again to flash TWRP, and then manually turn off your Tab S2 and turn it back on going back into recovery mode

@@VictorDoesTech thank you dear so much! appreciated
Hope this rom has less bugs.
I still get glitches here and there, but overall usability is still pretty intact

You lose everything when you put in any fresh image onto a device, Lineage OS, a different custom ROM, or the stock OS. Definitely make sure you back up any important data before proceeding to any major changes.

Hey, I was looking for someone like you. Which software can I use on an old Android. Namely, Samsung S2 plus
Hi thanks for your video.
Can lineage os improve performance of Samsung galaxy tab S2 tablet? Thanks
which models does this work with
The most ironic thing is that LOS 14.1 on this tablet is actually running better than stock, somehow.
And remember, this tab was running android 4! and Lineage brings it up to 7!
(also, that LOS 14.1 ROM was made in 2020. So, someone had a little too much time on their hands. 🤣)

Can it work on konwow tabs like the k-tab1003

If this is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, chances are that there are no Lineage OS files for this device. At the time of filming this video, files for the Galaxy Tab 2 and 3 series were there, but none for the original tab series, unfortunately
Does this also work for GT-p7500?

Hai Sofia! First off, thank you! Even though it's not really a tutorial. I actually followed a tutorial that I showed in the video 😅
Secondly, if your device is compatible with Lineage OS and Samsung Odin, you should obtain similar results, in terms of installing Lineage OS over to your device. However, 500 MB of RAM is not a lot... Even for back then. Your performance from that device will be SEVERELY limited. At least this is from my personal experience. I'd suggest doing a bit more research before proceeding!

I have an old one at home which is just unusable.

Thank you! And in my opinion, yes, as long as you disable 'LiveDisplay' either in the settings or by adding the notification toggle onto the notification tray. With LiveDisplay turned off, the tablet is pretty usable for light games and content consumption. I'd NEVER try to game on here, tho
