you should talk bout shift lock + post, then shift lock spam and post spam, and also my playstyle which is the forward and back
@@Firefist0123I don’t spam shift lock and post that much as some people do. When I do that playstyle, I get the ball stolen way too much. I prefer to keep my playstyle simple and it works out for me
@@cukoys I think that ball positioning is important to be able to use these styles well rather than just spamming MB shouldve elaborated, spam it depending on the defneder

Idk if I'm just naive because I don't play comp but I just don't see many of these things I've said happening.
I'm on mobile. I just spam shift lock, and use lobs to pass to myself. Idk if post is even viable on mobile. I've tried and failed. I'm inconsistent. I get cooked 0-21 and then come back 21-0, even though I suck at rebounding. Any comp or high level players I've faced typically make some adjustments and flush me out after solving their issue. What's ironic is I often get cooked harder by lower level players with basic moves and dunk spammers than post / shiftlock / deep 3 pt shooters.
But I agree simple play styles are most OP. The best thing I've always done is made great players unguardable through pass, and the potential of screens I think have just been completely swept under the rug. Why don't people rim run and a guy set screen in-between the path the rim runner is going to take? Also, when will people realize when the ball handler and the screener are running towards each other the screener is WAY more likely to catch a body, and the right one, at that. All the ball handler needs to do is maintain their direction.
And even playing with pro players very few are trying to exploit that single TEAM situation over and over. They are playing more like it's an iso, just judging distance and trying to break their ankles. It's also extremely rare to see people INTENTIONALLY pass before the space is even created, giving you an easy bucket.
When I watch many of the ytbers they don't really pass that fast to the open man, making their shot way harder.

For me it is extremely hard to guard post when they can just force you to hit them and should i guard with shiftlock or without and should i be zoomed in or zoomed out farther
Half and Half. I use shiflock if I want to angle my character and get a contest if I'm out of position.

1:34 how are you actually doing that on keyboard. Bit confused how your able to like walk backwards snap back and repeat if you get what i mean. It's like you fake 2x then go into the eurostep. I just seem to be doing swivels like my character trying to dance.
You want to place your fingers in a way where you can shift lock and press g. Then once you hit them with the post, Euro away from them. You also have to look in the opposite direction of where you're trying to go (to go backwards).

Yes it is very important. If you don't get a green, you can still get a full bar. A full bar will go in most of the time if the contest isn't high.
And cukoys how to make a green on high contested shots for example 30
30% greens are only consistent from up close and the deep mid range shots. It's all about timing and rhythm.

@@haninamer1944 You also have to know the sweet spot to hit them with the euro post. If you do it wrong, they won't get hit with the post and they will get a good contest.

what is comp player and where is the comp players?
Comp players are players who have VERY good records. Look for players who have good records. An example would be a player who has a record of 2194-231 or 3102-94.

This tutorial is for new players to get familiar with the controls of the moves such as post and euro step. If I jumped straight into advanced moves like the dunk tech or lob off the backboard, new players would be wondering how to do that since it is way more difficult to do.
