Bought these headphones kinda on an impulse, had a cross Atlantic flight and decided to splurge a bit on some ANC headphones to enjoy the plane a bit more. Gotta say they work great! Only issue is that if you use glasses I would not recommend them, they are very tight and hurt the side of your head if you use them with glasses (might be I just have a wide head though), for me I only use glasses when watching TV or using a computer for long so you can just lift the glasses on top of the ear cups (not stylish but very practical). Sound quality if very good! Incredible bass, highs and lows. Microphone is receptive but won't blow your mind ANC works fine but if you expect something that will block out 100% of all noise then look somewhere else at a much higher price bracket. These block out 75% - 95% of noise depending on how much noise there is and if you are listening to music or not. In total I give these a: 8.3/10

Haven't actually used the sony xb910s yet. I would say if you like them really really loud then these will probably disappoint, although I don't listen to them too loud as it hurts my ears. Thanks for watching!
I had the Live 400BTs, returned them because they were defective but the sound Blew me away, now imagine what improvements they made with these new ones.
It does collect a lot over time and does discolour, I have tried to remove it but it stays on there, you should get a good 12 months before it starts to discolour a lot though
@MrYouWho i actually bought it, and mine has already discolored a lot. I even had to wash the head. I won't recommend buying it, tho. Also, the noise cancelation is not fantastic. They should have paid attention to the type of fabric placed there to avoid bad reviews .
The whites do discolor a little over time, they are plastic so you can wipe although the ear cups are a little harder. Will you use them for the gym or anything like that?

There's something I'd like to know. I bought these a couple of weeks ago, but now I feel like the NC isn't working properly. Because when I'm on the bus, unless I put my music at max volume, I can still hear people talking and other background noises. Though I feel like when I first bought them, they were working way better. So I don't know if I should return them or if it's a minor problem.

Would you recommend these over the Sony WH-CH710NC? I'm going to use them at the gym, in school and on the buss. Usually I listen to a lot of bass heavy music like rap and hip-hop.
Bought these today, really happy about them ! But there is one problem. If I conmect them with the wire to my phone, only the left side plays. If I do it with Bluetooth both side works. Anyone advice, if thats a problem and how I can fix it ? :)
I am not sure the latency would be good enough for gaming all the time as I didn't actually test the latency. How often would you be using it? The mic should be fine for calling.

hi @@MrYouWho ! sadly no, i was able to clean the 'rubber' stuff that rests around your ears with a wetwipe but i couldnt clean the headband or inside the headphones where the sound comes from (the fabric that says R and L on them). for the headband i simply bought a cover for it, but for inside the headphones i dont really have a solution..

I had some really cheap headphones and earbuds over the time and wanted something better without the feeling of paying half my Life savings (at least it what i felt like looking at some prices) I did try them out yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the fit and the sound... I got the headphones for Christmas and I must say, I'm really satisfied with them. They do have amazing sound quality, good noise canceling and are very comfortable. So far, they're great.

They sound the same. I've had both, the live 660 just add better battery life, ambient mode, auto pause when you take the headphones off and a slightly tighter fit.

Hi .. i just got a JBL live 660nc and i saw that i can use the equalizer from the JBL app but already have one inside the music (Spotify and deezer) .. i don't see the advantage of having an equalizer in the JBL app when all phones comes with an integrated one .. is there a difference between the two plz ?

One thing about these headphones, as I have owned them for months, is they are NOT for bassheads as they do not produce a wall of bass over top of everything else. However as they are more for those who like a neutral natural sound, they do produce enough bass to give tracks power without drowning out the rest of the music. And the clarity is there too as mentioned in this video. All of this is of course adjustable within the JBL app but keep in mind there are limitations. All in all, I love these as I primarily listen to rock and country music and I love the JBL sound. Again, bassheads should look elsewhere..
I don't know why people love these headphones because you don't hear lower frequencies ,like 20/25 hertz (needed for intense movie experience or deep bass music)at high volume the speakers started cracking like hell plus they aren't very loud. No ill bring them back to the store tomorrow.
The noise canceling is horrible, gives the buzzing interference when playing songs with high base and you have to physically press down the cups over your ear for the anc to not sound horrible, really sucks , wish y’all would be honest and save folks the money

@@wisdom_magnet hi, kind of JBL Quantum 600 (wireless, USB to the PC, works 10m away just fine) good side: 10/10 for games (espec. for CS:GO . it has 7.1 sound (all around, very precise)). microphone - 9/10, very clear, almost like 500$ bad side: 6/10 for music - bass not so good for music (Sony WH-CH710NL, much better choice for music, but BAD for games and BAD mic. ). if only they could have made better for music... :( JBL Q.600 vs. Q800 - no difference , only Q.800 has Bluetooth , and more expensive (+50$) 2nd choice: Logitech PRO X game quality : 9/10 (personally, slightly worse than JBL Q.600) music quality: 6/10 (almost no dif vs. JBL) JBL or Logitech, under 200$ , i think you wont find better. (these cost around 150$) 3rd choice: Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II game: 9/10 music: 7/10 (slightly better than in JBL, or Logitech, but expensive ...250-300$ - brand name

Are they good for 7-8 hours of use for remote work? do they feel tight on the ears? The ones i have press against both ears and it starts paining in 3-4 hours.
JBL660 NC Headphones are as good as headphones costing over $300. I have tried most of the more expensive brands, some in the $300-$600 range. The sound quality of JBL is fantastic and sounds better than some much more expensive cans. JBL is wonderful for ambient, atmospheric, oldies, classic rock, soft rock, Motown, and classical music. If you love heavy base, they are average. The noise cancelling is great. They are comfortable to wear . The construction is high quality. They are great for travel. If you want to save money, buy these. You won't be disappointed.

I just got the JBL tour ones for $150. Yes they sound great but don't get very loud? How about the lives? My guess is they are most likely similar.. its a bummer because the tours are very feature rich but I think they are going back! :-(

One thing I'm confused about these headphone is toggling ANC does nothing. I tried on/off and background noise sounds same. Is it normal?

Yes they do work with an Iphone, I use them with my Iphone Pro 15 Max.

Hi .. i just got a JBL live 660nc and i saw that i can use the equalizer from the JBL app but already have one inside the music (Spotify and deezer) .. i don't see the advantage of having an equalizer in the JBL app when all phones comes with an integrated one .. is there a difference between the two plz ?

do you have to sacrifice loudness for bass
One thing about these headphones, as I have owned them for months, is they are NOT for bassheads as they do not produce a wall of bass over top of everything else. However as they are more for those who like a neutral natural sound, they do produce enough bass to give tracks power without drowning out the rest of the music. And the clarity is there too as mentioned in this video. All of this is of course adjustable within the JBL app but keep in mind there are limitations. All in all, I love these as I primarily listen to rock and country music and I love the JBL sound. Again, bassheads should look elsewhere..

On the best bang for the buck side I would recommend the Anker soundcore series for bassheads.

I don't know why people love these headphones because you don't hear lower frequencies ,like 20/25 hertz (needed for intense movie experience or deep bass music)at high volume the speakers started cracking like hell plus they aren't very loud. No ill bring them back to the store tomorrow.

The noise canceling is horrible, gives the buzzing interference when playing songs with high base and you have to physically press down the cups over your ear for the anc to not sound horrible, really sucks , wish y’all would be honest and save folks the money

JBL Quantum 600 (wireless, USB to the PC, works 10m away just fine)
good side: 10/10 for games (espec. for CS:GO . it has 7.1 sound (all around, very precise)). microphone - 9/10, very clear, almost like 500$
bad side: 6/10 for music - bass not so good for music (Sony WH-CH710NL, much better choice for music, but BAD for games and BAD mic. ). if only they could have made better for music... :(
JBL Q.600 vs. Q800 - no difference , only Q.800 has Bluetooth , and more expensive (+50$)
2nd choice: Logitech PRO X
game quality : 9/10 (personally, slightly worse than JBL Q.600)
music quality: 6/10 (almost no dif vs. JBL)
JBL or Logitech, under 200$ , i think you wont find better. (these cost around 150$)
3rd choice:
Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II
game: 9/10
music: 7/10 (slightly better than in JBL, or Logitech, but expensive ...250-300$ - brand name

Are they good for 7-8 hours of use for remote work? do they feel tight on the ears? The ones i have press against both ears and it starts paining in 3-4 hours.
I tried them in person and their clamping force is strong. I suspect they might get uncomfortable after a while.
The clamping on these is strong but you do get used to them. Not the most comfortable out there
JBL660 NC Headphones are as good as headphones costing over $300. I have tried most of the more expensive brands, some in the $300-$600 range. The sound quality of JBL is fantastic and sounds better than some much more expensive cans. JBL is wonderful for ambient, atmospheric, oldies, classic rock, soft rock, Motown, and classical music. If you love heavy base, they are average. The noise cancelling is great. They are comfortable to wear . The construction is high quality. They are great for travel. If you want to save money, buy these. You won't be disappointed.

I just got the JBL tour ones for $150. Yes they sound great but don't get very loud? How about the lives? My guess is they are most likely similar.. its a bummer because the tours are very feature rich but I think they are going back! :-(
