Really enjoyed how the tires flew about on the one curve & missed the grid girls! Well that one 3 piece bumped her, but the little figurine handled it like a champ. Then later the one vibrated off the side of the road,lol. Good show! Good show! Oh yeah, really dig the Back to the future slot car!
Then there was the blue car that curved itself right out of the slot, but luckily another car came around & bapped it right back into place! I’ve seen that happen before in real life. Cool to see it on the you tube, where I can rewind & pause play the scene.
Yes can understand when something is brand new like your slot it cars you think they would work 🙄🤔🫨 Hopefully you have them sorted and those scalextric cars …….. they do sound good
Hallo Shane. Try rewire the wire on the guide. I had the same problem with a ´jumping´ car and i noticed the wire had fallen of the guide. Poor QC! Nice video, once again. Keep up the god work, regards from Denmark 🙃
People will tell us oh when you buy one of these cars they need to be adjusted and tuned well bugger that they have to at least run anyway I’m over all them cars scalextric and carrera for me there fine loved the show mate and wildmans advice oh I’ll have to get that new Batman car looks awesome 🤟🤟
Yes, wholeheartedly agree. It should at least run properly out of the box. Then you ‘fine tune’ it to optimise performance. When it’s clearly dead on arrival, it’s a faulty product, really. I may end up sending the Lola back to the retailer, but I’ve had it sitting here waiting for a chip for over 3 months. They’ll likely have a laugh.
G'day Shane, with slot it , got tuned them up , with the wire hanging out that's due too poor quality control , yes replace your guides also the lead wires from the motor replace with elastic wires , because they make them too short and yes they are for anglog tracks ps thank you slot car wildman

That 787 is a curious one, since it was supposed to be digital-ready. Could someone have switched the original out with another Mazda? Those front tires looked like they had a bit of a flat spot. I'm sure you can get them sorted out with a little work, but yes - you'd expect them to at least make it around the track right out of the box.

Hi Shane that was a video of highs and lows the"toy" scalextric ran great and the 'hobbyist' cars are causing you grief. Much as some will knock Carrera and Scalextric you can virtually guarantee that they will run straight out of the boxI've got 6 slot it cars including the Oreca and I've never had any problems. The first Mazda looks like someone has changed the chassis???? As for the others I don't know but I'm sure you will sort it out. Keep up the great work sir
Ahh… you are spot on, Rob. This exercise hopefully demonstrates the perils of brand-snobbery. And the take away is that the Carrera & Scalextric offerings are better than some would care to admit. But don’t worry, those Slot.it cars will be sorted and some extra fast and intense racing videos shall be forthcoming. I’m excited! 😎👍🏁
A subscriber designed & 3D printed those for me. I’m using our old iPhone 11’s. Will be getting some little wifi spycams to put around the track, to be seen by those 2 screens.

Also… be aware you need certain tyre models for certain cars, all the bloody wheels are different and inconsistent. Some models you can’t get tyres for. Quite a rabbit hole.
This is my second try at leaving a comment. I left one earlier while the video was on premier and now its gone. Not sure whats happening with my comments, two weeks in a row I comment on your video and then it vanishes. So sorry that the slotits disappointed you after I was singing their praise. I agree with the live chat comments that the gears on the Lola need looked at to make sure nothing is broken and then adjust the mesh, and the slotinvasion guides will make a big difference in keeping them in the slot. Just be aware that the Lola has an entirely different guide setup thats takes a lot of modification to refit with a standard guide such as the slotinvasions. Another thing about the Lola is it's built to take a standard Carrera chip. The adapter mount and screws should be in a little bag in the car case and the chassis is predrilled for the IR emitter. Try taking a chip out of one of your Carrera cars to install temporarily in the Lola and see if it reacts differently. There were 2 reasons I added a digital/analog converter box to my track instead of chipping all the different non-diigital cars I wanted to get, one was the cost of the chips and the other was a lot of comments about people having various problems using non-Carrera chips on a Carrera system .
