I genuinely love the detail where the walking animations for Android's are extremely stiff and straight but when they become deviant their becomes more exaggerated, more power and emotion in their steps. It's so subtle but such a great detail.

On the other hand deviants’ analysis function is all scrambled and has no grids there is only scattered lines
god I just realized that the first scene is the case of an Android who became a deviant because he was terrified and furious about being replaced, just like almost every human you interact with in the game is feeling exactly the same way. fearful of being replaced.

This is more than a game, or a story. Its a statement to mankind, which implicates questions in how we should proceed regarding AI. The amount of symbolism in this game which harks to past events in human history gives me goosebumps.
Markus and Martin sound extremely similar. There is no possible way that's a coincidence, the writers intentionally built Markus's personality after Martin Luther King Junior. This work of art we call Detroit: Become Human is a metaphor for racism and the chaos it can create, peaceful protest or war.
Markus is a prototype, that's why his wall is the hardest than the other two. Kara is an outdated series, it means she is the oldest series compared to the other two therefore her wall is not as hard as the other two to break. Connor should be a prototype like Markus, but cyberlife decided to make him a deviant himself but his program makes him to believe that he is actually not the one.

This was probably one of the best games I've watched, it didn't bore me, I watched it like a movie. I'm out of words, absolutely amazing. I'm so mad that I didn't discover it earlier, but I'm glad I discovered it now.
I feel like Hank calling Connor "his android" (in the part where he goes "I have to be the only person that get's assaulted by his own android") is actually a well hidden, really emotional moment up until this point, Hand had refused to see that Connor was his partner or that they had any type of connection but even so, in his drunken state, he does actually speak his mind and it slips out that he does in fact care about Connor I at least like to think that since I'm pretty sure he says the same things in runs like the machine run, where it wouldn't be accurate but still

Holy shit I just completed this video, and god damn this game is an emotional joyride. The way all 3 stories connect at the climax of the game is beautiful. Every single character, that most of us root for, has been done in a way little other video game characters can compare. Connor found himself and woke up, Kara found a family in Alice and Luthor, and Markus found a way to peacefully get androids to be recognized as another form of intelligent life. This game is, by far, one of the greatest games of all time. Edit: I also wanna say that Connor and Hank becoming (I’m pretty sure) father and son in the end is just another big thing that makes this game amazing.
I can’t believe that this was made in 2018 because when you play it again you think it was made in current year. It’s very clean and the graphics are outstanding. I love everything about this game.
Just realized that Markus and Connor have opposite unique features. Markus can Preconstruct to form a plan that will give him the outcome he needs. Connor can Reconstruct events that happened before so he'd know what exactly happened in the past.
It's been 5 years since this games release and it's still an absolute perfect story, hell i even dare call this a masterpiece of a movie. I watched a few people play through it and get so many bad endings but to me, this is the true ending, and god this game was and still is an experience. I loved this whole video and even got my grandmother hooked onto it. I really hope another game like this is made. this was worth losing sleep over lol

This how we can teach young people through a game, the importance of freedom, the importance of life, and that we have always do actions in order to maintain democracy,resist to any discrimination, respect every being. (Sorry guys for the long comment, but it was the first time for me that a video game that was not only entertaining but it was also a food for thought. Hope to see more of those in the future)
When I first downloaded this game I thought it is all about robotics and other stuffs but when I played I saw there is emotions ,humanity, love and had everything which a true gamer or a human deserves

bruh do you realize when Markus shows Carl the book he is reading it's Macbeth. Usually in theater performances or in plays or in any other movies, if someone mentions the name Macbeth, something bad is bound to happen. For instance in Hamilton, spoliers ofc, Hamilton addresses the name Macbeth in one if his letters to Angelica, signifying that he misses her and his life is turning into crap and soon after all hell break loose and everything turns bad, resulting in getting himself killed. In this game however, when Markus mentions Macbeth, something bad is bound to happen, like Carl getting killed, being thrown into a junk yard almost dying, and have advantages of getting Markus and the other characters killed. It all depends on the person that's playing the game to deicide their fate. When Markus mentions that in 1:14:27 it just blew my mind and i just had to say something abt it
4 years late but man! This game is so good! I loved how each character had their quirks, it was so easy to read them as people, even if they get barely any time on screen.
10 hours well spent. Enjoyed watching this... felt like a movie, enjoyed more than an actual movie to be honest. Great story, characters, voice actors, design, soundtrack, etc. Perfection. If this was really to happen in the future, personally, I'd be in favor of co-existence.
To call this a game is disrespectful. This is a movie, a film, it is digital history. Nothing in a million years could top Detroit. It is the best creation to have come from the internet. it is one of the best metaphors for racism. There aren't many other pieces of work that could capture the feelings of hatred, sympathy, empathy, sadness, joy, and fear more than this. It is one of the best art projects to exist. It is, Detroit: Become Human.
This game represents so well today, I'm not talking about robots necessarily, but AI, (which is a technological mind that creates responses for things). I'm really going to rewatch this, It's a perfect game for what it was created for, history, graphics, the way it represents technology, which before seemed forced, but now is more real than ever, It will be 10 hours well spent.

Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. This is literally the best thing I've ever seen in my entire life. I'm obsessed now. First off, I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the person that played this all the way through and recorded it and uploaded it. Like thank you so much, this was just so cool. I've watched it like a movie over the past few days. I'm going to actually go buy the game because 1) it's such an amazing piece of art and I want to support the creators and 2) I need to explore all the alternate paths (I'm amazed at how many there are --at how in depth this masterpiece is.) I bet a lot of the alternate paths are super tragic and heart-wrenching, aren't they? Did they nearly hack Connor and force him assassinate Markus at the end there? Oof, how emotionally painful would that have been!? But, what a brilliant piece of art, that it can evoke such strong emotion for these characters. Just amazing. I'm speechless. Obviously.

I honestly can't even decide on which is my favorite character. I guess I don't have one. Just the whole entire "base" of this game is absolutely beautiful. I love Conner's story because He's so innocent yet built to hunt down deviants, which I guess I like about him. He's also a really cool character, and his storyline/gameplay is pretty interesting. I love Conners character. What I love about Kara's is that it's raw and emotional. And it kinda relates to me, which makes me feel more personally connected with the story. I also think that Kara and Alice's relationship is very sweet. Kara's story feels most human out of the three. Love it. What I love about Marcus' story is that he won't let anyone take advantage of him anymore. He's strong and a leader of his people, and won't stop until freedom. I also like that they added some romance into Marcus' story. North and Marcus are a great couple. Overall, I adore this game. Good job.

Holy shit I just completed this video, and god damn this game is an emotional joyride. The way all 3 stories connect at the climax of the game is beautiful. Every single character, that most of us root for, has been done in a way little other video game characters can compare.
Connor found himself and woke up, Kara found a family in Alice and Luthor, and Markus found a way to peacefully get androids to be recognized as another form of intelligent life.
This game is, by far, one of the greatest games of all time.
Edit: I also wanna say that Connor and Hank becoming (I’m pretty sure) father and son in the end is just another big thing that makes this game amazing.

It's been 5 years since this games release and it's still an absolute perfect story, hell i even dare call this a masterpiece of a movie.

bruh do you realize when Markus shows Carl the book he is reading it's Macbeth. Usually in theater performances or in plays or in any other movies, if someone mentions the name Macbeth, something bad is bound to happen. For instance in Hamilton, spoliers ofc, Hamilton addresses the name Macbeth in one if his letters to Angelica, signifying that he misses her and his life is turning into crap and soon after all hell break loose and everything turns bad, resulting in getting himself killed. In this game however, when Markus mentions Macbeth, something bad is bound to happen, like Carl getting killed, being thrown into a junk yard almost dying, and have advantages of getting Markus and the other characters killed. It all depends on the person that's playing the game to deicide their fate. When Markus mentions that in 1:14:27 it just blew my mind and i just had to say something abt it

This game represents so well today, I'm not talking about robots necessarily, but AI, (which is a technological mind that creates responses for things). I'm really going to rewatch this, It's a perfect game for what it was created for, history, graphics, the way it represents technology, which before seemed forced, but now is more real than ever, It will be 10 hours well spent.

Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. This is literally the best thing I've ever seen in my entire life. I'm obsessed now. First off, I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the person that played this all the way through and recorded it and uploaded it. Like thank you so much, this was just so cool. I've watched it like a movie over the past few days. I'm going to actually go buy the game because 1) it's such an amazing piece of art and I want to support the creators and 2) I need to explore all the alternate paths (I'm amazed at how many there are --at how in depth this masterpiece is.) I bet a lot of the alternate paths are super tragic and heart-wrenching, aren't they? Did they nearly hack Connor and force him assassinate Markus at the end there? Oof, how emotionally painful would that have been!? But, what a brilliant piece of art, that it can evoke such strong emotion for these characters. Just amazing. I'm speechless. Obviously.

Markus is a perfect man, very kind and never thought of violence despite how humans treated them so badly and yet he trust humans that they will trust them back. I thought from the first place that markus will start a bloody revolution but damn, i wish that all man should think the same way as markus
Im a year late but anywayss... it depends on how you choose your choices. If you choose markus to become a pacifist, then then you'll get a markus who still believes in peace between humans. but if choose markus to become a revolutionist, then he'll rally up all the androids and start a bloody war (if u don't know this yet hehehehe ur wels ig)
This was very satisfying--even though I wasn't able to play myself--because the game was played in the way I would have played it. Thank you for uploading so that those of us who are unable to play are still able to experience and enjoy the game!

I honestly can't even decide on which is my favorite character. I guess I don't have one. Just the whole entire "base" of this game is absolutely beautiful. I love Conner's story because He's so innocent yet built to hunt down deviants, which I guess I like about him. He's also a really cool character, and his storyline/gameplay is pretty interesting. I love Conners character. What I love about Kara's is that it's raw and emotional. And it kinda relates to me, which makes me feel more personally connected with the story. I also think that Kara and Alice's relationship is very sweet. Kara's story feels most human out of the three. Love it. What I love about Marcus' story is that he won't let anyone take advantage of him anymore. He's strong and a leader of his people, and won't stop until freedom. I also like that they added some romance into Marcus' story. North and Marcus are a great couple. Overall, I adore this game. Good job.
