Can we use oil to mix gold powder
Hi Shruti, do we need to add water in these all acrylic colors. Or needs to be added only in white for first coat.
Add little water if required. If your colours are new then not needed. Only if mix skin color then add little bit of water.

Hi!! Thanks a lot 😊 Yes you may use normal soil but sift it properly first. And yes you can use golden colour directly.

Hi! You can use poster color but apply one or two coats of glue (fevicol) after painting to get the shine.

Excellent dear 😘 but aapne kaunse shades use kar rahe ho ye show Karana chahaiye tha....means aapki plate ....shading main difficulty ho rahi hai 😞

Can I use camlin poster colours to paint this.
Hey! Yes you can but if you are performing pooja later and if water comes in contact then it might smudge. So try applying a thin layer of white glue after painting.(like fevicol)

Hi! Yes I've used 2 brushes, one for light shade and one for darker shade.😊
Hii plzz tell me that. If i made this ganesha with mud ...so do i need to dry that first or can directly do the color on it??
Hi! Yes you need to dry it. It takes around a day or two for it to dry.

Are these colors used are dissolvable once immersed in water?
They will separate and float. But you can use poster color they are water soluble

No,,,they are maded with chemicals,,,they can harm nature,,,,also they prevents clay to dissolve in water till 2-3 days.

Hi! Ideally you should wait till it dries. Otherwise paint can crack

Hi!! The clay hardens after drying. However, shadu clay idols are to be handled with care.

Hi! I've given the details in the description box. I've used 'asian pains aluminium paint as binder but you can also you fevicryl binder. It's easily available.

Hi! Yes you can use it. You might need 2 coats though.

Hi! You can let it dry for at least 3-4 days depending on the weather and then paint it.
When idol feels like room temperature (Not when it's cold let it dry more ) ☺️

Hi, really nice idol, i am also making Ganesh idol. but i am facing some crack issue in my idol, can u suggest how can i resolve?
Hi! If your are making in parts then make sure your idol doesn't dry out till it's completed. Also don't use a lot of water to smoothen it or else when it dries it'll develop cracks.

Hi! No it won't. Just apply white colour first as a base and then use other colours. 😊

Hi! If you paint with white first then the other colours will look more vibrant and you won't need a lot of colour too.

Nice video...really its too good....can you help what is the mixture for gold medium (Is it binder?) and what is thas Asian paints mangoes aluminium paint (is it varnish?)
Thanks a lot 😊 the medium is binder only. Mix binder and gold powder. Assian paints 3 mangoes aluminium paint is basically a set of binder and silver power. I used it's binder and added fevicryl gold powder. It stays for long and doesn't turn blackish. But fevicryl binder also works fine.

How many days are needed for paint to dry?
Hi! It dries in a few hours. In 5-4 hours it'll dry completely.

You can directly paint with final colours. You might need 2 coats in that case.

Hey! You are right it won't completely dissolve. You can use poster color also instead.
