- TH-cam star Keenan Cahill has died. He was 27. According to multiple reports, Cahill died on Thursday following complications from open heart surgery. Ahead of the procedure, he told fans, ‘Wish me luck,’ on Instagram. As a baby, he was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome. Cahill was best known for his lip-sync videos with celebrities, including 50 Cent, Britney Spears, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber.
As soon as I read his name I was transported back to being 12/13… and seeing his clip with 50 cent was iconic feeling, I hope he knows how impactful his time on earth was. May be rest in peace ❤

I’m in shock seeing this. I’m so sad to learn of Keenan’s passing. He was a great guy and so fun to watch. His teaming up with Katy Perry was iconic. He’s left us far too soon. He will always be remembered in the history of the internet and TH-cam as a pillar of the time and a huge contributor to their growth and success. He truly “made something out of nothing at all,” RIP young Sparrow. Keep soaring above in the heavens. I offer my deepest sympathies to all who knew and loved the great young man. 🕯️

Man, this breaks my heart . Keenan, has turned a lot of my depressed days into smiles and laughter. I have very bad depression. I heard from a few people that Keenan was milking his fan base with lies and whatever. I don't give a Sh!t ,he wasn't hurting anyone or me in any way shape or form.
Keenan made my bad , sad days, go away.

I saw his Levels video a few years ago and was fascinated by his lip syncing. He had a joy and an uninhibited style that made him stand out from the crowd. Then I learned about his condition and admired him more. His life wasn't easy but he found a way to turn lemons into lemonade. Condolences to his family.

His videos will always be part of TH-cam history. He contributed greatly to our culture and he should be admired for it for decades to come.

He was only 1 year apart from me. This is why I cherish every sec of being alive cause just making out of your 20s without some freak accident or illness is not to easy these days.
So so sad , Keenan was a great guy and beloved by so many. My thought go out to his family and friends .

My good friend Johnny Carson had a heart defect. Dude went through about 20 open heart surgeries in his life. Sadly his heart gave out when he was 30 and we never got to see him shine. RIP John. We miss you.
