I have someone who I take guidance from (godmother but I'm not initiated yet) who is outside of NYC. I'm wondering since you're in NYC, if you have any advice for how to get involved with any feasts, fets, etc in the city.
So where did people get the idea to offer him pennies and oranges? I have been giving him offerings of such and he has accepted them. I'm not initiated so I don't know as much as I would like despite my searching
Is your "day job", for lack of a better term a teacher/professor? Your lecture's are pro level structured and I always seem to be able to retain the info you give (which is a miracle in and of itself lol). Thanks again for education.

sonofgrimreaper the comisiones are used mostly in Cuban and Puerto Rican espiritismo or Mesa blanca. The comisión conga is used in espiritismo cruzado in Cuba. Vodou/21 div has Congo nations and there are loa pertaining to these nations.

Namie Namie Don’t give out fake information. Eleggua, Esu and Papa Legba are NOT the same. Papa Legba is in Vodou, Esu & Eleggua are in Ifa and Santeria. One is the gatekeeper of the Lwa and one is the gatekeeper of the Orishas. Papa Legba is the one that lets Anaisa come through, not Esu nor Eleggua. Esu is a darker side of Eleggua, like the same coin with 2 sides like the person above me said
