Great review! FYI, you placed the top right skull on incorrectly. There's a little hole on the left side to plug in. It takes some fidgeting but eventually you can get the skull posed in the more proper position.

I got this a few months ago for my Bday & I LOVE it! I'm so pleased I got the last one from BBTS! For me it really is an essential part of my Predators collection, it displays gorgeously with the figures & you really said it when you said how sturdy it is. Just like you I was expecting a clip together display piece that I was paying way too much for, it really is anything but. You mention that it's a solid piece of plastic & I really don't think it is, it seems more like polystone or resin to me. Regardless I love mine & if I had one wish is that I wish they were individually numbered, which would be great since they are limited to 6000 pieces.
I didn't have room to zoom out without it looking really bad. I captured the full width of the piece, and panned up and down, so I figured that would be sufficient;
i splurged. worth it. just didnt realize the size so have to find a proper display with my selective lost tribe. and have to wait for the skull pack to come out to complete my several missing skulls
I'm with you on the bloody skull. I went ahead and bought the skull set (even though I already owned them all) just for the extra clean skull. Hell, I could just make my Wolf Predator display look better with the extra ones. One thing that annoys me: Neca originally said that they were going to make it so you could customize with the other skulls (I believe). Maybe I'm wrong, but that really sucks that it isn't as customizable as I had originally thought.
I love mine. It is expensive, but I treated myself and that was a purchase made over two months collectors budget saved. Well worth it. It *is* expensive, but not in a kind of Sideshow or Hot Toys way.
It's a lovely display piece. I've loved the Predators, and let's be honest they don't do much with Neca's awful joints on a lot of them. It's a great set piece to the Predator collection.

This is exactly what I was searching for and to my pleasant surprise, of course NECA produced a diorama of this. I am very late to the game collecting these Predators which is both good and bad. Good: I can pick up the Ultimate City and Jungle Hunters as my first and only versions of each. And I don't have to pick up Predators I don't know or have no interest in just to get the correct skulls. Bad: All I can ever find is marked up after market prices now. The cheapest I've seen this thing with skulls was $200.00. Ugh.

I honestly don't think it is. The creature from Predators was based on the original concept for the Predator, which had a duck-like head. This is definitely not that.

I'd go for this if you didn't have to buy heaps of Predators to get the separate skulls, I've got all the movie specific Predators but I'm not a big fan of the price to get all these. Looks good though.
it has been a long time since this video came out but dude, the pictures are pretty clear, you are placing the Pegs in the wrong place, look at the numer 4, that is why you canot sit the Skull in a nice possition, i recomend to not do that, it causes them to break super easily.
I'm passing on this. Not because its not great, but because I have no room for a piece this large. And I too don't enjoy the cloaked Predators. I feel like its a jip! Great review!
