Does it display the steps in the home page or do they need to open the move app to view their steps?
Thank you for this! Have you notice any problem with delays on GPS notifications? I saw one review that said the Gabb 3 was slow to alert when the watch had left the "zone." Have you noticed that at all?

My wife set it up and she is the primary and I am set up as guardian. I don’t have the ability to change contacts, set limits, etc. is there a way for both of us to be “primary” so I can edit the limits, contacts, etc?
Only the primary can use parental controls. That is one of the few drawbacks of this device!

We currently have a first generation Gabb watch and are looking to upgrade to the 3. Does it allow for group texting?
No, unfortunately it doesn't.
LOTs of reviews on Amazon complain of a really short battery life. People had to recharge it after only 4 hours or at best in early afternoon. What has been your experience?
Actually, we've had no problem with battery life. It lasts around 24 hours for us. I can't imagine how it would only last a few hours unless it wasn't fully charged to start with. We have ours in school mode during the school day, but it is used fairly frequently besides during school hours. The parent app will also tell you how much battery life is remaining. Mine was fully charged 18 hours ago and is now at 57% battery life.
I have it and on average I charge it every night but it could go another day.
Are the texts only received in the app or can people get them in their phones standard messaging app
No app is required to receive texts from the Gabb Watch 3! You receive a regular text message to your phone when it's sent from the Gabb Watch 3. That's one reason we like it over most similar products.
I am considering one for my 9 year old (almost 10) who won't have a phone anytime soon, can I ask why you feel it wouldn't be good for his age? Just trying to decide!
It's great for this age. Depending on the child, it could work for kids up to 12. I love that it gives kids a little bit of freedom to communicate but parents can control the contact list and see where there kids are. Let me know if you have more questions.
Does the watch give a notification on the screen or sound when they have a text message come in? We recently bought this watch and it seems like the only way to can see if my son has a text he has to go check. Any idea if this is a setting that I can turn on?
Yes. If you go into settings on the watch you can choose a ring tone, turn up the volume, and turn on vibration.
@Mommyhighfive I have done both of those settings, but with the watch is at rest and have a black screen it doesn't come up and say he has a text message. Does that make sense?
It will only ding for a text message if he gets one while on the watch and has messages open.
I tried chatting with Gabb, but they didn't understand what I was asking.
@@sendingpixiedust5668 i just had the same issue. Turn it off and wait a few minutes and turn it back on, then the text notifications worked for me. Prior to turning it off, it was not alerting when I would send test texts to the watch during initial set up. Hope it helps!

When i text my daughter's watch it doesn't vibrate or make a sound. Is there a way to enable this?
You should be able to do it on the watch settings.
If your child messages you will it show up on your Apple Watch? Can they text another kid who only has an Apple Watch! Thank you
The nice thing about the Gabb Watch 3 is that you can contact anyone with a phone number (as long as the parent approves the number).

Is this watch water proof
It is water resistant, meaning it's fine to have on while washing hands or walking in the rain or snow. Gabb doesn't recommend swimming with the watch on.
