I know it is sad to have gorillas captive in a zoo but to me it seems like they have plenty of stimulation and are enjoying life. I'm so glad to see the whole family involved in Shabani's favorite chase game. Thanks for the great video iBosch.
Brian Hubis I agree Brian, would rather they were in the wild but if they have to be in the zoo then hopefully they can be fit and healthy and happy. Shabani is magnificent and such a wonderful father.

If I'm not mistaken, other than humans, Gorilla males (dads) are the only species that actually play with their offspring like this. ((with the exception of domestic dogs, maybe)
Shabani is the best silverback bursting with personality. I love to watch him bite the rope, shake his arms and hands and perform 😂. He loves his kids so much, and loves to play tag with them.

Kiyomasa sneaking behind him and biting him. And were those Shabani smiles I saw? Be still my heart 💞One can see how much more gentle he is with the kids than he was with Nene when he does the "bite and shove" to get the "recipient/victim" to chase him.
