3:19 I have a better design, instead of gluing the band on the "Pushing axel" have it hold on by tension and when it's done unwinding the band will lose tension and when its 100% unwrapped the band will fall of and the car will glide to a stop instead of the band catching and rewinding pushing the car in the opposite direction.

I did this for engineering class. I did it with the #11 rubber band as a whole or a circle and I did it with the rubber band cut and still had the same results. I added 2 triple A batteries, an iPhone, an iPod, and 2 nail polishes for weight. This helped the wheels from spinning out or popping up into the air. My problem is I need my car to go 20 feet and with small Poland Spring cap wheels and a small rubber band this doesnt do it. I have to increase my speed, distance and revolutions. I am trying to figure all this out before class today. However, this car is not for me.
