Thinking back on this day, it was like everything was working against us to make this trip.
From the last minute rental, to driving up and down northern blvd looking for Ryda the morning of the show cause he was missing. After searching for two hours. We ended up finding him in Rocky’s building, he had waited for us all night, and fell asleep on the roof cause he had no place to go the night before and his phone died. We had a lot of trials and tribulations, we fought a lot about dumb shit like being late to the event, but we had love for each other as brothers. We built a family when the world turned their back on us, and the music was our way of finding peace and being heard.
Throughout it all when it was game-time, we never missed a beat. Rocky and Ryda were true performers, we studied the craft, practiced often, and they made me proud. The studio was our home, It gave us something to work towards and the people loved us. Every building we walked into we were a unit, the energy was undeniable, all the B.S went out the window. when the cameras came on it was showtime!
