your cruise control is named "Auto-Pilot" and they work great. It looks like you are missing the On/Off knob that fits with an allen screw. Also, one of your speedometer cables, there's 2, is broken or missing. The lack of speedometer action says something is amiss. Those cruise units are very reliable so I default to the cables. Once you have a speedometer again, you can still use that Auto-Pilot's speed minder feature. Once the car reaches the preset speed there on the knob that is still on the dash, the gas pedal will firm up. You'll be able to press against the added resistance, which is the reminder for your speed. Once you have a knob for the On/Off side, you will be able to hold the set speed like a cruise control does. When it's in the cruise mode, twist that knob when no one's around and hold on! It's a great cruise unit worthy of fixing, likely just cables and lubing the cable casings.
Excellent video Dylan :) your car ex Police , Bryer driveing your Dad car and both sweet vehicles too ! Like old ones too and how many people got them to and amazing cars!
🇺🇸👍 I’ve got a 68 Plymouth Belvedere 4 door I’ve always fancied giving it the 1 Adam 12 paint job but just haven’t gotten around to it. Good video good fun.
You know you could do that police car up as a tribute to Sherrif Buford Pusser, the walking tall sherrif from mcnairy county Tennessee. You probably are too young to remember him though.
I had a 67 Galaxy 500 convertible that had the super touchiest breaks. Come to find out it was the brake hoses. I didn't think it was because you would push and push a little bit little bit little bit on the brake pedal then all the sudden they'd lock up but they would release right away. And I couldn't figure it out and I sold the car and I wished I wouldn't have.
Does that car have a reverberator on the rear speaker? How do you know, you ask? The round fader knob that hangs down from the dashpad to the left of the radio On/Off knob... if you can pull down/push up on that round fader knob, that turns the reverb unit on. Those units are usually trunk mounted in a 4x6x6 steel box.
@@auteurfiddler8706 Chrysler offered reverb units from 1963 forward, they were standard in the New Yorker Salon models in '63. It was never spelled out that a car had reverb at the knob. If a person never pulled that knob down, they could go along without ever knowing their car has a reverb, this is why I mention it. They were kind of rare, it is likely your car doesn't have one. If the knob doesn't pull up and down, it's just a standard fader.
@@HelpingHand-ic4wt The 67 300 is long gone, but I remember you can control the delay with the knob. At one end, the sounds were simultaneous, and at the other end the delay was excessive. Also, it was bad for things like talk radio, so you turned it off for that.
@@auteurfiddler8706 ya, it had limited use. It came onto the market a bit ahead of stereo broadcast. Big classical music does well with a little signal delay. Maybe badda blang bling blang Tootie Fruity does too.
That car deserves to be restored correctly and driven as a daily... that's what I would do anyhow...why let it just sit and degrade over time...truly a waste of a great car...😢
Sorry Dylan, but I said at the time making a Chrysler luxury car a faux police car was a terrible idea. I recommended that it be restored as what it was, a classy luxury car. The reasons were too numerous to list here now. I hope you can .. uhm... basically undo what you did when you were a kid and make he car great again. No offense intended. Coming from a long time C body owner. And a long time fan of this channel. **** Basically, remove the bubble and put a nice shiny metallic paint on, suitable for a luxury cruiser. Light blue metallic would match the interior. Oh, put some nice full wheel covers on some 15 inch wheels off a 70's Mopar. That would allow a disk brake conversion, too. White walls, but regular ones, not wide. Still affordable to buy these days. When I was a teen, a lot of guys did foolish things to decorate their cars with the latest "kitsch" , so I am not judging.
That blue Ford pickup was sweet!!
Dylan your daughter is adorable! Looks like she had so much fun with mommy and daddy.
Beautiful little itty bitty McCool.
Those are 2 of the coolest 4 door cars ever!
Got me a Chrysler as big as a whale and it's about to set sail!

I wish Uncle Dylan would take me to a parade

Already left a like... Dylan great video as always you and everyone be blessed....
17:30 you did me dirty 😩, I didn’t think you’d actually put it in there 😂😂
Loved the police cars 🚨
Need to run the fire engine 🚒
Have a great rest of the summer.
I remember watching this when you got this. Back in the day. Been watching for a while 😂
Glad to see this car I wish people wouldn't love this car so much so you can drive it. You should do a part 2 of how much cars you owned
I love the dash, you should fix the speeddometer.
Besides your ratty 1969 Charger, this one has always been my favorite being a long time follower. Glad to see it again.
City folks enjoy living in an apartment building 8 story's high
Small town life is for me praise the Lord and God bless America
16:38 I would yell at you, well the screen, to take it out of park like I do with movies and TV shows, but I saw the floor shifter.

a verry large car that one, looks cool
I love American cars and all things American. Proud to be British but wow, I'd love a 30 foot long Chrysler to take the kids to school in!
You and me both, pal. 🎉
Hey Dylan thank you for the video
The Tennessee State Trooper police car is really cool. I've never seen a Super Bee police car before.
You got to get it wash it and put some poppies patina on that man
It’ll melt spray paint unfortunately.
Absolut amazing car , ist so beautyful. Greetings from germany 😊
Mid '60s Chryslers are nice cars
I wish we had the space here in the Netherlands for those fullsize american cars…. But there is just not enough room for them 😂
Out of curiousity, how much of that car is original? It looks absolutely beautiful!

You should take this police cars to the power tour
Fun
Sweet Chrysler. It would start better if you got the choke working properly. No high idle means the car is going to be hard to start.
Fixing the A/C isn't too challenging in these, they hold a lot of refrigerant and work well.
Ace
You should do a video featuring all your police cars. You've got a few don't you?

Great video as always. Can you tell me what kind of sunglasses you're wearing?
I've always wondered why you keep the cars and allow them to sit?
Must be nice to have such a hassle to have a CHRYSLER THAT ON MARKETPLACE PEOPLE LIE AND SAY ITS A LETTER CAR TO TRY AND HIGHWAY ROB YOU
Cute kid Dylan

Hey Dylan, have you got an Autozone near you. I'm trying to get Autozone to sponsor some worthy You tuber and you fit that bill.
Has a New Orleans Saints sticker on the rear window; did it come from Louisiana?

I do not remember this video. The previous videos have been for cars you've shown back a year or so.
Well ya gotta fix it, to drive it, right?
👌👍👌❤🤍💙
I sure do wish you would make a car hauler out of that firetruck. You didn't drive it in the parade.
Nooo 😮 I thought it should be in the parade too. 🚒
DOG!
Side by sides, yuck.
