Consider running a Bagooska in extra deck. You chain a runick card to fusion Geri on a D barrier, shifter or eradicator virus to summon bagooska to stall a turn.
Such a well explained deck profile, the viewer can really tell how much experience you have with this deck. THANK YOU for going in depth with the side deck patterns, most don't do that. Any update post AGOV?
THANK YOU I APPRECIATE IT! The only thing that REALLY good is the new fusion gives you nice side deck patterns wioth end of anubis/king tiger wanghu. SP and TI-PHON can also be played but they aren't mandatory by any means!
Hey you're probably not going to see this but it would be really cool if you can make a master duel runick chimera variant of this deck the Chimera cards just released into the game and nobody's done a deck showcase or guide on them yet and i would really like to play them in the MD format just don't know what to fit in since a lot of the running spells are semi / Limited and with it being a best of one and all
I like to see triple dispelling, also picked it as my 6th runick as handripping works better on an already reduced hand. How do you feel about Wanghu? Would replace the 3rd Gazelle when playing against Purrely/Spright and searchable by Berfomet. Doesn't mess up the siding too much, i believe a single 1off is okay putting one of the other cards to 2 as we draw so many cards.
It’s definitely fine, but I want my normal summon always on mirror sword or berf I feel. It also can turn off a lot of your own runick plays as well so need to be careful of that! But try it out if your matches get countered by it!
@@JarridYGO I haven't found the optimal way without losing the illusion negates because chimera would leave the field. But you can fuse Wanghu from your hand with chimera for guardian chimera or magnum and after that reborn Wanghu with chimera as an additional layer to your board instead of putting it there turn 1.
Thank you for a more in-depth deck profile! What are your thoughts on Book of Moon in main? It can possibly help dodge an Imperm on Berfomet and just good disruption overall against decks like Kash. Also, what would you cut for the third Guardian Chimera? Maybe the Freki or the Azalea? I was also testing with Summon Limit in side and been liking it. I'll give D Barrier a try though!
I like book definitely! It’s just a super good card and versatile for the format. Prob freki I would cut. I think he comes up the least. Ya definitely, it’s definitely performing the best for me
@therealpekka3692 I would probably cut 1 Gazelle, 1 Chimera Fusion, and 1 Patchwork. You can maybe cut down on Slumbers and Dispelling as well, but they do act like starters when you are going first though.

I’ve been playing the deck since Chimera’s release and I genuinely never realized Sleipnir triggered on the draw phase, which is a bit embarrassing ^^ Thanks for the vid, always happy to see other viewpoints when it comes to this deck, as I feel it has a lot of potential
Ya I think so, cause if you go into a unfavorable position you can take them out for heavy hand traps to help even out the field. They are really good generic cards to beat a lot of the random cards and can be extenders to play thru stuff. Setting up chimera is huge with poly in grave so imperm doesn’t do anything to it. And chain blocking with chain is huge too!
what do you do when the third copy of patchwork becomes dead? I assume you won't use hugin because by then you should have gotten all of your fields out of deck
If you got to that point in a game, It should be over already. You should have had so much advantage from fountains, chimeras, and magnum, they should be at 0 cards pretty much

If I can find room in the extra it’s definitely a good consideration to play around it! Problem is book of moon popular lt can definitely be scary

You can try it if you want but you may find your self bricking on them mid game when your drawing with all your engine@@xxheroesftwxx6930

Annoying, gotta use your stuff very smart and kinda know what they are going for before they do it. A lot of the times its a grind and i deck them out
