Some of the best music made by these two. Never get bored by it. And i'm sure i never will. Tracks like a million miles to earth are timeless and as good as any ambient music ever made. Should be more well known than it is...RIP Pete. You are missed.

I'm on the same page. Him and Zoviet France really filling out my tunes of the day. I have forgotten the sound of Pink Floyd just because how deep these tunes can get me and lock me listening non stop.

its not plastikman as clearly stated in the title and Richie thinks he has moved on to the future, all computers, digital mp3 whatever etc... he lost is creativity through ease of making music and becoming a famous dj... he decided to make money and e a star, they all do in the end
Honestly artists can’t keep doing the same thing over and over again. In his prime he was amazing. Plastikman jumped the shark with Consumed, but then he went on to do orange and yellow which led to the DE9 stuff. This album came around that time too. I don’t know if he’s had anything noteworthy since the last DE9 album though.
@@nicka6151 Firstly, that's not right. It's 128 kbps m4a (in this case, sometimes they use ogg), equivalent to 192 kbps mp3. And with an amplifier, external loudspeakers and a sound improvement software like Bongiovi the sound is perfect to my ears.
Richie is well known for using TB 303 , TR 808 / TR 909 (Bass & Drum synths.. you can hear the 808 in the first track). Pete's main sounds were Oberheim SEM (in 4 voice arrangement) , Nord , Prophet 5 , Moog , Waldorf Wave products and in the early 90's some Korg gear! Hope this helps. Richie has always seemed to be quite minimal with his gear. Pete had an excellent arsenal by the mid 2000's

WTF has happened to Hawtin? This music is 100% better than shit he plays nowadays.
mate, that is Plastikman, the one we see nowadays is Richie Hawtin ;) and this was made a long time ago
its not plastikman as clearly stated in the title and Richie thinks he has moved on to the future, all computers, digital mp3 whatever etc... he lost is creativity through ease of making music and becoming a famous dj... he decided to make money and e a star, they all do in the end

Pretty sure Rich and Peter just found a way to intercept some broadcasts from deep within the cosmic microwave background.
shame about the TH-cam compression though....doesn't do it justice.
Oh you little music production expert....most people just focus on the musical ideas...
bro youtube is mp4 128 kbit.. barely bearable if you have a healhy ear and anything better than airpods..

Incorrect. Before the age of DAW's and softsynths, Rich had an immense studio along with very large old analog synths.
Bean B made entirely with spring reverb and 2 anal-og buttplugs

Sound quality is better but lugging it all around with you as a dj you gotta be fit 😏
Vinyl is a pain in the ass and doesn’t lend itself well to ambient. You can always hear the surface noise - totally destroys the quiet bits.
