Right Adam come here you. I've been watching you since I stumbled across your pancake day video god knows how long back. I was just a broke carer back then, and I really didn't have the gift for cooking due to a strange upbringing but I think I'm in a mushy, sappy mood so I feel compelled to leave a genuine comment as I feel like I've never expressed it, and I know creative validation really can do a lot for the motvation of small creators. Now, I'm someone who's hard to please and I don't believe in flattery so believe I'm genuine when I say this - you are the greatest cooking channel for anyone who actually wants to cook on this whole website. I mean it. The Babishes, Joshua Weissmans and whoever else of the world are great and all, very entertaining but they're not *relatable* or real. They don't show you how to cook, they show you how THEY cook. And that's great and all and again, no hate, but it does grind my gears when they do things like make their own pizza dough in a stand mixer and urge their audience to do the same. Sorry lads but it ain't that simple, we can't all be calinfornian millionaires! But here you are you cheeky, handsome Leicestrian devil you. You don't just say it how it is but SHOW it how it is. Yes, a wok isn't viable for everyone. Furthermore, I have cataclysmic ADHD and I really struggle to follow instructions but your videos have been the only ones to just lay it out plainly and not over-intellecutalise something that doesn't need to be. Thanks for making me a better cook and better yet, showing me how to do it on a budget.
Brother, that's one of the kindest loveliest things anyone has ever said to me, thank you. I'm speechless honestly! I can relate too. I'm currently undiagnosed adhd and potentially autism. Hey Adam! Thank you for the video and recipe. A few days ago, I did some meal prepping and made a large amount of rice (for shrimp etouffee). Nice one Adam, added peas to my rice and served it with some roasted belly of pork that was marinated with soy sauce/smoked chipolte chilly sauce/honey/corn flour & chucks of red pepper & onion..........that is my tonight`s (England) football meal.
MUST add chopped green onions at the end if you want Uncle Rogers approval. Other then that, looks good with the MSG and day old rice - the other two main ingredients
