The defense on the house is awesome but......
Cons (Phantom not included)
-Vex is a noclip hostile mob, so he can just go towards everything and survive everything, aaaand kill the player.
-Magma ideas is a bad thing, mobs doesn't walk on magma blocks, they only walk on it if there's a trapdoor on the magma.
-Spiders can still get in that house but since the update, you can push entities, such as spiders, while the spider was trying to get Nathan here, the spider got pushed and died from the lava, but the wall is only 3 block high so the spider couldn't climb the wall.
-Spiders are immune to cobwebs, the cobwebs can't really slow down the spiders.
Pros
-To prevent vex of entering your house, put a lava wall that can be activated and deactivated, so you can enter your house any time.
-Also a great defense, go one block deep, put a water and spawn puffer fish in it and add a trapdoor, and there, you can add as many as you want, this defense prevents from walking hostile mobs from entering, they can get knock back with a poison, sending them behind and after they go again, they will take another poison and knock back which is a really good thing.
-(This is only for player defense) Adding ghast is a pretty good idea but it might attack you so... be careful, add a block above and at the bottom of the ghast, just like if you put puffer fish in a hole, its like that but its fully visible, in all of the corners of the house, or just add elder/guardian, put a water (Don't make the water flow down, just put stair above and at the bottom of the water place so the elder/guardian can't escape or the water might help the hostile mobs from entering the house since they can swim up and then fall towards the entry.)
-Create an inf tnt thingy then add obsidian and add a hole (Small one so the tnt still damage near entities) from where the tnt would fall so it doesn't destroy anything.
So... that's it, the only thing i think about, so... yeah, might help you.
