One of my favorite climbing videos, care free and having fun. I've been on the rope runner pro for one year now and it's one of the best things I've come across in the climbing world in my 18 years of service to the industry. Well done and thank you for making it easy on an older climber! Five stars on this device!!

I figured I may as well be blunt, since you can just as easily ignore the Q if you so choose -- Kevin, how satisfied are you with the monetary compensation and arrangements you've had while/during/after letting this become a Notch device?
    Thanks :)
(Thanks for everything not just for reading a comment lol, you're a really smart & talented guy actually I've personally benefitted from multiple things I learned in your podcast appearance, not only am I frequently getting clients to get wood chipped to mulch on-site but also am climbing "2 systems" SRT now more often than not, WOW does it increase your mobility in a canopy!!! If you haven't messed with 'treesqueeze' type lanyards yet you should give a try, using a pair of those as your anchors for a 2-SRT system, when in spread canopies, lets you do some crazy stuff!! And honestly they're awesome as fliplines for ascent too, not only are they safer & IMO more comfortable when fliplining up on spurs *but* you can always just "set it" and then it's your climbline anchor so if you encountered an ants' nest you could swap to bailing-out down your line right there, if Buckingham's patent-pending version wasn't scaring the other retailers from making them then this would be as ubiquitous, and considered as much a must-have lanyard, as the venerable "adjustable flipline / friction-saver" we all know & use!)

Hey Kevin, I was messing around with my RRP and I noticed on one of the inside walls of the bird that there's a small channel where the slic pin goes through. After some futzing around I figured out that if you rotate the bird count-clockwise while pulling on the slic pin (when it's already half-way removed from the RRP), it will allow it to release without having to actually reach inside the bird to release the snaps. I'm guessing that must have been intentional, but is there a reason why this was only added to one wall (which requires the slic pin installation opposite of how it's packaged)? Either way, I thought it was a neat discovery.
