Lol I just had a set of these a few months ago, I’m always years behind! I saw this on Amazon and figured I would give it a shot, and holy cow!!! These are absolutely STUNNING! I tried it all kinds of ways, even over clear nails and I was just blown away! They were honestly distracting, I kept catching myself staring at my nails! One thing I discovered is the surface must be completely smooth-this stuff shows every imperfection in the surface it’s covering.

I don't live in or around America, so I can't buy it here.. But I have heard the powder will stick if you leave your nail polish a little bit wet and don't finish it with a topcoat, since that will ruin the chrome powder. I'm planning on trying it with a regular clear polish over top!

I have purchased about six different holo powders and for the life of me no matter what no wipe top coat or technique I use I can not get them to stick to my nails. The only one that I have that works is from What's up nails. But, Its really pricey. I would like to use my others, I will have to try the "under cook" technique showed here. Thank you Suzie!! You are such an amazing nail tech, because of you I have taken nail courses at the Aveda beauty school here in Vermont!!

ehh. this max estrada powder isnt as liner and non-glittery as the LUXAPOLISH holo chrome. around the same price but the LUXA is so much thinner! please consider, Suzie!!!
I love this look! When I used silver chrome before with the nowipe topcoat I didn't like how it wasn't super slick - so I add another coat of OPI topcoat gel to finish. Not sure if anyone else loves to just feel their nails with their hands after they've done a manicure xD I've also tried Jamberry's TruShine topcoat but it doesn't have the same slick/gloss as OPI

you can buy the holo nail polish that is already holo instead of the powder and its very beautiful. Opi had a holo 14 years ago but discontinued it. It was by far the best holo nail polish I've ever seen, too bad that happened. It was called " Life's A Peach".
