Awesome!! Saved this video because I am going to need all the help I can get. I had accidentally offset one of my rockers and now the bike will not start. Full-blown newbie here lol. I appreciate your brother.
Another thing to check is to make sure the ratio rockers are not bottoming out on the stud. Do this by setting the lash at zero, rotating to full lift on one valve at the time, once at full lift use a allen wrench or screwdriver under the back of the rocker to see if you can open the valve any more. If so you are good, if not you will need shorter pushrods or check for spring coil bind.
@@dirty7739I have to wonder if that's even him with only 11 subs and I have never read or heard him talk about a YT channel. Plus he explains all of that really weird, Jody would have said that way different.
I found these on ebay for like$23 used a 5.160 push rod with fire 265 cam,,idles great revs mean,,no kick back ,starts first pull when hot ,26 lb valve springs, stainless valves
what position on the flywheel will i know when im at tdc its my first mini bike build im loving all the vids bro sorry for all the nEWbie questions i kno it must be annoying asf lol
@@SpACeCruizeR2o3Theres nothing to reference it to for one, that's why it goes by the piston at TDC and not the flywheel pointing at jupiter. And you really don't want to wait that long to light it I would imagine.
hey boss just a quick question i have a ducar 212 should i run these on her with that guide plate the motor already has a pvL flywheel and stage one kit just a 38jet in the stock carb header muffler gov bypassed

Backing off the adjuster after the jamb nut is tightened is likely loosening the stud in the head.
Yeah that was weird 😕

For some reason I can not hit the bell to be notified
Where did you get the plate ?
I have one three rockers with a 335 cam what would be the best pushrods for a big vale head and what size
should i take the guider piece out?
So, have you run the engine yet? Did these rockers work out without issues? What kind of performance change did you notice?
The Bike actually runs excellent it's pretty fast we clocked it at about 50 and it's still generally a stock motor
My gx160 making 52 mph all I added was 18lbs springs 1.3 ratio rockers
Where did you buy them?

Sure can
Red lock tight 😅
Technically, couldn’t you just take the original plate and widen out the hole a little bit and it would be the same thing
You sure could But the plate is like 6or 8 bucks so just change them
Will these ratio rockers work with a 285 cam ?
Yes
370 will be your final lift
What can do you have in this motor and what length chromoly push rods should I pair with with these rockers and a mod 2 cam
5.260 push rods
Stock cam
@@dirty7739 so i cant run these stock push rods stock cam stock guide plate?
@@lifebehindtheselens If everything stock you're good
@@lifebehindtheselens what if its a mod 2 cam or hot 265 cam u still use stock pushrods with 1.3 rockers
