FULL 6.5 MINUTES w Treehouse hens Youngest chickens are still skeptical 🧐 of me bc I take the eggs 🥚

The youngest hens are curious but jumpy and still don’t like that I come steal their eggs. That’s okay. Very understandable.
They’re also jumpy in this particular situation because as you can see, the older hens are pulling rank on the younger ones and enforcing the pecking order by protecting (hogging) all of the surprise food in the tray. You can witness the three youngest red hens being pushed away by the two older who are guarding the tray. Interesting to watch!
