My friends and I saw Paul six times during this tour. He was still in strong voice back then. Great shows. We lost our minds when he walked out onto the stage on the first night. Madison Square Garden, I believe. So lucky to have been able to finally see my all-time Musical Hero.
Holy crap, it's a five string! I've never seen Paul play a 5-string. Wish he would go back to the Ricky. He used it on Wings Over America tour, and it's just a cool looking bass.
I'm with you! As a drummer and the "other part of the rhythm section" I was very glad you pointed out that cool run out! I've been practicing with a Wings Tribute to sit in for their regular drummer while he's temp out sick, and really digging in to learn their music. I'm loving it!!!
Paul McCartney is such a positive and happy mind, and that is why most of his music is like that too. a depressive and introverted person couldn't compose such happy positive music - trust me. ) I don't say, that only happy music is great. but Paul is the man for happy music. he is THE man.
I just think this is one of The Beatles best times. Paul's vocals are the best on he original, and it was one other live concert that was even better. But they still sound great here, but unfortunately 2016 this isn't one of the tunes he be able to do live anymore you heard the last show you did and it was strained, but this tune still rocks!

always wondered if that girl in the dark blue top and black hair that they keep showing on the last half of this song has seen this. whenever I hear this song, I think of her.
Totally AWESOME EXPERIENCE - what TALENT - CREATIVITY and creation - most prolific song - music writer ever. It is SOOOO PAINFUL hearing the irritating, mind numbing, idiot noise that is played so much today -- R&B, Hip Hop, Rap Crap - and so degrading to refer to that noise as "music."
bro you can just admit you hate black people. funny you only mention predominately black produced genres and not genres like industrial, indie, emo, or literal noise music. yeah, the only ones that are bad is the ones mostly made by black people.
@@elijahamgast bro, there's no correlation between race and music. Blues, Jazz, Disco were invented by black People and still sounds better than any shit today.
I saw this film at the cinema in 1991. Boy, was I disappointed. I felt then, as I still feel, that Richard Lester was too preoccupied showing the ecstatic faces of the audience. I, for one, was more interested in seeing what was going on at the stage. But Mr. Lester could at least have given us some backstage glimpses as well. A waste of money and a waste of time, which is probably why this concert movie has largely been forgotten. This particular song reminded me of the fact that Paul McCartney's vocal had lost some of its edge, which is particularly obvious at the point where he shouts "Got to get you into my life." The Paul McCartney of 1991 should rather stick to his Wings and solo material.
I disagree with you strongly about not doing Beatles material. Are you kidding? many people come to his concerts to hear those songs. But I agree with you about the making of this movie. On "live and let die" they go completly away from the concert and show footage of war and other explsions instead of the ones on stage. Paul Mcartney around the world shot in North Carolina is much better.
@@AlexeBriand2002 my bad. I didn't read your comment correctly. The song you were featuring was "Got to Get You Back in My Life , Not Get Back. My brain went to sleep on that one.
Great singing ! No auto tune !

Dude plays everything, but kills on the bass…

Yep I noticed that fill - nice!
Is it me who loved this band? Hamish, Robbie and all the guys. I would love to see them together again. Such a great energy.
Great Lineup then, early 1990's...Paul still youthful, Linda still healthy
This is my favorite live version of this tune.

Singing and at the same playing bass is not that easy.
Is that a 4 or 5 string bass?

I love this version more than the original, his voice is much more powerful and you can actually hear his bass.
I should never have gone to the cinema in 1991 to watch this concert film. It was a waste of time and money.
I don't know what to say. Oh I know your title is missing leading. I only heard one song. Get Back seems to be missing.
it’s from the Get Back film in 1991
