I am also considering upgrading from my Xtreme 160R 4V and I'm eagerly waiting for the Xpulse 210 launch in India. For me, Tubeless Tyres are a top priority. If Hero offers a tubeless tyre conversion as an optional upgrade(just like RE is offering for himalayan 450), Xpulse 210 will definitely be my next bike.

Hey DJ, Yep, you mailed the points. Upgrading for the sake of upgrading just doesn't make sense, unless you have surplus money that you wish to use. By & large Japanese engines run like butter & are hassle free. I've used Yamaha, Honda prior to purchasing the VStrom 250SX. No issues whatsoever! You may get tired of the refinement but their engines are really 👌👌. Keep posting!! Ride safe & tc!
I think Suzuki needs to upgrade the VStrom 250SX , due to a competition check.......like Xpulse 210 and KTM 250 Adventure both bikes are launching with a lot of updates.........and capturing the audience's attention......

@@agedriders3805 From my experience... Royal Enfield will make you a mechanic for free of cost no matter whichever bike you purchase from RE. Except for built quality nothing is reliable in RE. V-storm is stiff and you will not get the comfort (suspension) you are getting from Xpulse. Go for 210.. there will be peace for every decision you make. It will not hurt your pockets also.. wait, take a test ride and decide for yourself...
Love Falcon Riders for Honest to the point views. 210 would be a downgrade after vsteom 250. The first thing one experiences is power, its a great feel good factor. New ktm Adventure r worth waiting for, if you can wait longer then xpulse 400 worth waiting for and if you can wait even till 2026 , then bmw gs 450 is coming.
Cc is not actual parameter better compare with bhp and torque, Minimum 25, 25 will do the job For example v storm yezdi adventure, almost re classic bullet (20 is good in these) , Bajaj dominor ,

@abhishek3398 I respect your view but Xpulse is going to be far far better than v-storm for any purpose considering its price, capability, service network etc. For touring Xpulse 210 is going to stay behind and for tube tyres there are alternative ways to tackle it. Have used the previous gen Xpulse for highway touring and high passes. Considering the 5 bhp increment and 6th gear.... it's going to steal most v storm or Himalayan buyers ...
I was recently in argentina, and got to know that the v strom is selling like hot cakes in every other country except India. Not like the sales figures are bad in India, but its quite popular abroad. What i understand is that people in these countries think very unlike us Indians. They focus more on the performance and reliability, unlike us who want VFM aiding features like slipper clutches in 200cc category over everything else. We aren't wrong for that, but VFM has taken over the decision making. The v strom and gixxer will never go out of production due to the export numbers. It is being produced by SMIPL that's why its being sold in the market. I honestly feel its the best tourer, specially for beginners. No nonsense, no rider "aids" except ABS.A very good platform to develop skills. Also suits well for experienced riders, this channel is the best example of it. Of course, Suzuki should get a new platform soon, with better features, better service etc to compete in the market. But for it is, i think its a great vehicle, but not a great product for a market like India.
bruh the current xpulse is very reliable. I have a pro version never had any problems with it, in general as well xpulse is regarded as a reliable bike. the vstorm doesnt sell well because its overpriced just like other suzuki bikes, nothing else

One last question since I hv jst brought the bike during Diwali I hv noticed ths noise , Did u upgrade to the iridium spark plugs Current spark plugs on Suzuki vstrom Normal-MR8E-9 Can I put the NGK iridium spark plug with code name CPR8EAIX-9 ?

Biggest reason is suspension and ride quality other things can be egnored for once . Xpluse's design or engine was not the point but ride quality was and you downplayed it a bit too much. That 250 is just 🤮🤮 such laziness by Suzuki "bap dada ka nam mitti me mila diya".
Noth worth it, vstorm is much better than xpulse lot of issues in xpulse engine related I have the 2 valve , 2wice engine work in span of 5 years , product not up to the mark

Using Gixxer 155 for 7yrs now, Reliability, Suzuki 155 feels like riding a 200-250cc,

Did Pune to kedarnath, and back total 5000km on v Strom sx without any problem, with pillion and luggage did easily 110 to 120 on open roads

Front rally tower design would have helped xpulse 210 look good in my opinion.
In todays date , suzuki is making most reliable engine is India and whatever sales they have is due to this factor only.

V strom sales well, the service is not that great but pocket friendly and easy to maintain. Engine is gem of the matter
