Dear Paul, I rally feel intense shame to have discovered such an amazing teacher relative late. But as the saying goes ''better late than never''. I'm so thankful for all your effort and time...
Noted: 1. S + might + have + verb 3/ past participle + complement > expressing the past possibility. 2. - form > S + might + not + have + verb 3 + complement. 3. Past conditional sentence> S + might + have + verb 3 + if + past perfect tense. Thanks🤗
Hello Paul! Thanks a lot for the lesson! It was difficult for me to understand this topic myself. After your excellent explanation, I feel I got it. My attempt to give an example: She might have slimmed if she had eaten less at night.
Might have done means you are Not SURE of the action just guessing 😉or probability. This associates with past tense.May have done means you are Sure of what you say because you know some facts permanently,so you built you guessing on facts. This kind of probability comes with present simple. You can speak both daily.

I would choose "checked" as the answer to that question. I see the past participle "checked" here as an adjective modifying the noun phrase "blood pressure".
Sir , i have problem with understanding American English vs indian english. Because we use might have been as the same as we use would have been . And why not as ,it is same like past conditional. but in the sentences where you use might have been we in india use may have been. ( So i am totally confused as i have observed in your language that you consider may have and might have in the same category. Which i feel wrong . ( So here in india we use might have like like would have . And the sentences you used like dryer might have stoppd working , we say the dryer may have stopped working. So please clarify why it is different from would have and being used in the place of may have. If this is true then it is going to be so confusing for us to understand.( Or the case may be that you don't differntiate between may have and might have
Yes, you can say that. There was the possibility of them being hurt because of the accident they had been involved in, but luckily for them nobody was hurt.
Thanks Teacher Paul!!Correct me if i'm wrong: I might have done this lesson a week ago...but i'm not sure! Why is he reacting like this?????He might have lost his mind!!
