- Women’s college basketball has exploded in popularity over the last few years. The sport has seen phenomenal teams and athletes really put everything on the line to beat opponents and make their sport more relevant. With the guidance of their coach, the University of South Carolina Gamecocks won this year’s NCAA championship game against Iowa and put a cherry on top of a perfect undefeated season. THE DAWN STALEY IS THE QUEEN GOAT! I've been a fan of South Carolina Gamecocks sports for 60 years and I just wish the other sports were as great as our wonderful ladies BB team! BTW if you didn't know this little tidbit..... DAWN STALEYS family is originally from Swansea South Carolina!It was ordained that she would return to her parents home state and make her mark as the greatest coach of all time in women's basketball!
She's definitely one of the greatest to ever do it! Thank you so much for watching!
