I wish to go to Lansdowne from Delhi too but the journey is almost 7 hours.i want to couple this trip with two more destinations. one while going to Lansdowne and stay their overnight and see that place. And other destination while returning to delhi and stay their over night and see that place. Kindly suggest some places which I can visit while reaching Lansdowne. Thanks
Lansdowne is quite remote location that's why maximum Tourist did not visit there as compared to Nainital or Mussoorie. The only other place to visit there is Tadkeshwar Temple, which is 33 KM's. I'll suggest you to visit Siddhvali temple Kotdwar, and Durga temple while going, and next day you can plan to visit Tadkeshwar temple which is must visit place there. Rest Tourist places are far from Kotdwar which could take another 5-6 hours which did not make sense. It's a weekend place and two days are sufficient to explore. Give a whole day to Lansdowne and next day to Tadkeshwar.
