I'd like to hear more news on/about the other nonferrous metals besides aluminum and copper. Like more news/updates about brass and/or electric motors or even news about rotors and cast iron.
we talk about copper prices pretty generally from a trading level. If copper is up, then brass and motors will follow suit. The same goes for ferrous metal and other subsidiaries like rotors and cast. Good idea though...we will try and touch on that
Can you talk more about Aluminum? Almost all types of scrap Al = an alloy(or so i've been told), even though it is its own periodic table metal. Be it an alloy for ease of manufacturing process or to meet specs of the manufactured product, it can get very confusing, for those of us with only the simple tools of a magnet, & grinder doing a spark test. The knowledge of folk like you, can be another tool.
Hey Thom can you talk about prices on copper tin coated , and silver coated . Which is worth more , and is it worth stripping it for more money ? Thank you. God bless y'all.

I'm still going to hold on to some of my nonferrous scrap. But everything else I am going to sell as soon I have enough to make a full load.

For your hobby retired scrapper. I say sell everything you got except copper. Buy silver and gold.

It remains a mystery why people always buy when prices are at their highest

SHOULD WE HOLD EVERYTHING
Not just yet. Prices aren't that crazy
@@iScrapApp they are way down in northern Ireland.
All scrap metals are sold way too cheap. These fabricators need to be paying at least 4x for all of it.
Although you are right and completely correct it’s something that’s not going to happen
I agree. The market manipulators need to be broken first.
