Absolutely vastly overlooked comic genius. I want more
He is naturally funny, he has made me laugh so much, I have not laughed like that for a long time.
Why on earth are they not making more series's? It makes me so happy to see him, and the rest of the cast all together, they are all brilliant. Come on, make more, because, honestly the way things are going in the world, we need a laugh, and Count Arthur Strong can do just that.
WELL DONE STEVE. Thank you.
For the moment disregard the spoken word, the physical side of the performance is incredible, the walk, the face contortions, constant shoulder lifting and head lowering and leaning over is a feat in itself...
I honestly dont get the dislike for the tv show. It must be old peoples minds not getting the script AND physical comedy. Cas started as a stage comedy act and even during the live radio shows and phots he was always dressed as cas
I reauuuulyyy do!
@jimisi7424 My mother was a massive fan of CAS in her 80s. He reminded her of when comedy was funny.
Personallt, I liked the TV show just as much as the radio one, perhaps a bit more as the visual aspect added so much to it.
Having heard the radio show, I was almost, but not quite, slightly prepared for the first time I saw him on stage. When, at the end he had concussed himself, told us all off for having the television too loud and told us to go to bed, he wandered away, and we sat waiting. You could tell half the auduence were wondering when he would come back to take a bow, while those of us who "knew" Arthur were barely concealing our laughter at their confusion.
Genius!!
I went to a show at the beginning of last year's tour , to think that Steve was to do so many more shows all over the country is exhausting to even think about . Long live The Count !!!!
Sheer joy to watch and even more so to listen to, we need more of this on our TV, why hasn't he appeared on live at the Apollo I'll never know
Only the Count could make saying "as a" over and over again funny.
I thought he'd turned into Stewart Lee
Piles confirmed. Put this man in charge of our health immediately!
Free glasses and hats for everyone.
I MUST get this. Count Arthur is as interesting and amusing to me today as the first day I heard the show on BBC radio 4.
I met up with Count Arthur in the Doncaster Odeon. They were showing our favourite musical, "Annie Get Your Coat". As we made our way to the seats, our passage was blocked by a rather dishevelled youth spread across a number of seats. At this point Arthur completely lost it and started yelling at the youth "Look you, some of use have come a long way to get here, catching three buses. The least you could do is to sit up properly and I suspose your local. Where have you come from". In slow motion the lad pointed to the balcony above. You couldn't make it up, I really do.
Saw him live last week, first time ever and was a birthday surprise, I was so chuffed to turn up and see it was him I was seeing, he was amazing!! had face ache when I left!
He is simply brilliant, and should be on TV,instead we get shitty soaps or reality shit,he had the funniest show on TV since Only Fools, bloody BBC,surly one station could commission a Count Arthur strong TV show??
You know there has been BBC series of this yeah?
There have been 3 series on the BBC - www.amazon.co.uk/Count-Arthur-Strong-Complete-Third/dp/B072F4Y4WR/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1513122127&sr=1-1&keywords=count+arthur+strong
Daniel Massey Indeed, but the Scientology in S3 episode was my favourite.
Here Here ! Should be BACK on TV , saw him live and met him after the show , what a lovely man , I really do .
@@DanielRed2 The BBC seem to want to axe everything. Perhaps they might finish up axing themselves?
Props to Steve, I'm exhausted just watching hahaha.
I seen him twice now. he's so painful to watch. My sides hurt for days afterwards. It's been one of the few genuinely funny comedies the bbc's produced for years.
A completely unique genius
This guy is a comic genius. I really do.

The one and only
C'mon Sky... or Channel 4... sign the Count up for more gloriously funny telly.
Here here
but do it like the radio cast, not the last tv cast, it didn’t work, except for arthur.
@@Tonysmithmusic it’s comments like that that make it easier for beeb to scrap the series. Many of his fans love all his output and just want more.
Get rid of the parasitical windsor's and make Count Arthur President for strife, I mean wife, oh, bloody hell, what do I mean.
