@@skylargunning4800 Well, the thing with this song is that the characters are upset that the guy they're interested in doesn't seem to want their relationship to progress. He's such a charming, attractive person that he should be able to have a relationship easily, but he's not doing anything to achieve that. They're basically saying, "I could understand you not having a relationship if you had some faults, but you're perfect so it doesn't make any sense." So, with the line, "I could understand a person if he wasn't good in bed," the characters are saying, "You're so good in bed, I don't understand how you don't have a relationship."

i love that they're all constantly doing the movements a little bit differently. if you pause at one of the more isolated movements like at 3:35, wes is doing a more relaxed flick, gavin is doing something more fosse-esque and ethan is snapping. they all have so much character in their own personalities and that's why this is one of my favorite performances ever.

I love seeing the difference in experience with these 3! you can tell Wesley and Gavin have done more shows than Ethan. While they are all talented, Gavin is clearly classically trained, Wesley has so much energy that he throws into it, and Ethan brings a sense of excitement and naivete to the performance. It's wonderful!

Ok just so everyone knows at 3:21 when they say "I can understand a person if he wasn't good in bed." they are saying that they can understand if a person wasn't in a relationship BECAUSE they weren't good in bed. They weren't actually saying that Ethan's character or Ethan himself wasn't good in bed. Ethan's character is April and she is the only person who has slept with the man that they are singing about. So that's why they look at her as to say "It doesn't make sense that he isn't in a relationship because he's amazing in bed which April would know."

i really enjoy seeing them perform all together; it's easy to tell that wesley and gavin have been performing for longer (something about their movements, very sharp and clear) whereas i think ethan is still developing his sort of classic movement style. they're all great! i'm just particularly interested in watching ethan's career and how he evolves :)
