He runs a banjo well ,but as a guy who did the same thing for a few years .I can tell you it’s not the same as using a bazooka . This is back breaking ,it’s too hard on the knees and back over time . I own five bazookas now and would never go back to this . I still use the banjo the odd time if I have to work off scaffolding or a scissor lift , because if it happens to get dropped I’m not out $1500
Im learning with the banjo now(always taped everything by hand) one problem im having is it takes so much effort to pull the tape out. Is it because my mud isnt loose enough?
Wow bro! Thank you for sharing this video. I bought this same banjo today and was getting blisters bad. I noticed you didn’t pass the tape through that top pin. That may be my problem
I just saw this. Cool tool for sheet rock projects. What is it called, the ones for your feet to reach high ceilings? 🤔 I remember back in 60's tall people using those at Six Flags for entertainment purposes. I was little girl back then and I couldn't believe my eyes how tall they were before my mom explained to me that they were using fake legs.
Banjo?!
nice work man! are you using all purpose? I find it hard to bed if you leave it sitting too long. btw, try marshalltown skywalker stilts they are way more comfortable you'll never go back cheers!
I do wipe down. I always got a guy wipes down. He was the one taken the video. It was small room. Thats why i tape it. I tape it all. I do not have a problem wiping it down like that when its something small
If Wolverine had banjo hands, instead of the claws...This dude would beat the shit out of him...:)...As a drywaller for 3 decades; I can appreciate his talents! :)
because it's a process when you have speed ....so once that section is complete then you move to the next task which would be wiping down.....but doing flats then wiping and then picking the banjo back up to do corners in the same section is moving backwards plus the compound was mixed properly so he had enough time to finish desired area so why not

Stone Cold You don't know anything about banjo did you? You might think I'm using 20 minute It would take a little while before this Get dry Always got somebody behind me
Stone cold you dont know anything about how banjos work. You have to make the mud thinner than when you are taping by hand. That means it will take longer to dry. Ive been doing this for 21 years and ive never had problems with cracking because i never let the mud get dry under the tape. That was a small room that was higher then 8 feet thats why I taped it by myself.
The one I have had wheels I can't get it to cut nice like yours at the end of the joint. Nice work.
take of the wheels or get different banjo 👍
These guys make it look so easy.

I was considering buying a bazooka, but after seeing this I think a banjo will be just fine!
Bazooka is useful for bigger jobs. Banjo is perfect for small jobs like this room.
Bazooka you don't have to be on stilts
@@La2venidathe bazooka wipes the mud down also?
Thanks for Your Time Sir 👍👍👍👍, Nice Job, I've been wanting to buy one of these, Now I see how it works. Thanks Again !!

@@crrz-ws1qn did you sharpen the tip of that banjo, you cut that tape easily
Put on some rubber or latex gloves , and get scoop. Put those short angle in when you are there.
why not wipe the buts and flats then tape angles... and that is way slower then a super taper and a gut pail. that thing needs a bigger mud capacity
because it's a process when you have speed ....so once that section is complete then you move to the next task which would be wiping down.....but doing flats then wiping and then picking the banjo back up to do corners in the same section is moving backwards plus the compound was mixed properly so he had enough time to finish desired area so why not
Think about the weight of it.
Props for the stilt work though😎
It's nice but you still have to go through and hit everything with a knife. Looks like after a bit of practice it makes it a bit quicker.
