    Great in-depth review as always!
With your over-riding feeling of Orko being too big, I would like to offer up a couple of alternative perspectives that one could take on this.
Firstly is the idea that surely Mondo should take some liberties with scale for their own take on these characters, and for smaller characters it makes sense to make them a bit bigger than they perhaps 'should' be, in order to create a better value product for the likely fixed minimum price point that Mondo need to hit?
Secondly, by your logic Beastman and He-Man 'should' be the same scale too right? As they were a similar size in filmation, the original vintage line, and MOTU Classics. Yet off the top of my head, I don't recall you mentioning that Beastman was too big in your review of him. I would have thought your logic should be consistent when it comes to critiquing how different figure's scale with each other when liberties are taken with scale on many of Mondo's own designs. Either it's always wrong, or it's never wrong, as opposed to it sometimes being wrong.

Thank you for watching. You're quite correct. Even as I prefer the Orko "accessory" to the actual Orko, I thought myself that the simplistic and cartoonish design would clash with Mondo's design.
It was quite a puzzle to determine how I would resolve the issue of "scale" in my mind. I think I wasn't quite referring to scaling them as they were in the cartoons but as how they should scale towards each other.
For Beastman, I am glad that they shrunk it down a little from the first photo release but it is much bigger than a regular Mondo figure. But in Beastman's case, Mondo won me over with their design, product and logic. Beastman, by name, should be bigger, almost hulking and have that "beast-like" appearance.
With Orko, I still see him as an adolescent apprentice. Not that he is in the cartoons' it's just his behavior and actions made him that way to me. And when you pose him side by side with a Mondo figure he is just slightly too big for me.
One thing, I have been thinking on is the robe. If the cloth part of the robe were not there and the figure ended at the vest; I think that actually works better for me. But, you can't hide the robe under the vest because that exposes the folded legs of the figure.
In the end, I think it will "grow" on me. Get it? Hahaha.

@@amusedjester Haha, yes, what you say makes sense!
By adding these extra features to Orko, such as the legs, they were forced to make him bigger, but then that also works out better from a value perspective. Mondo's take on the character is definitely a more serious design compared to the cartoon, but it fits in better with the line as a whole.
Will you be getting the deluxe Scareglow and Scare-Mare? Mondo showed off a prototype of each of them at the recent Monsterpalooza event.

@@nicholashill8724 It's not on the basic fund list that I had allocated for Mondo but OMG are they not gorgeous? BUT if I get Scareglow with Scaremare, I would have to get Swiftwind. Two things that may convince me more is the final paint app for both and how the wings can be folded on Scaremare. They're beautiful spread out but I'm desperate on space right now. How about you?
