I feel like the ONLY reason why Final Act ain't here is because the description specifies Calming/relaxing music.... (despite title not) so.... yeah. RFA certainly isn't calming. It's more hype/fear-inspiring.
I love last light, I am in the Act 2 now and I love the ambiance, Last light give this feeling of hope in hard times, absolutely love it...BG3 is more than just a game, I am still sad I couldn't help the tieflings i have the fail feeling inside of me that needed some redemption, so in Last light I could help them to be safe, I feel hope...
How did you manage to doom the Tieflings though? What we got is: -They cant fight and will die if you send em out without killing the goblins -Kaga is some shady bitch that straight up wants to kill them if they dont leave (maybe you even managed to find the note from the chest mentioning kaga, leading you to the nd note´s location and revealing her to have ties to the shadow druids) SO what is the BEST solution here? We do NOT want to attack the druids bc they just want to protect themselves, same thing with the tieflings, they arent fighters. We cant send them out either bc they will get slaughtered on the road. So what do we do that solves everyone´s problem? Yes get rid of the merciless attackers, the Goblins. And the instructions there are pretty clear. I even went in, gathered as much info as i could from the goblins and talked to the leaders stating my situation clearly and left it to them to picka fight with me or not. Unfortunately for them they chose to fight me. Their loss. So HOW do you fuck up saving the tieflings? Unless you did that on purpose (?)
I thought this happened because I slept too much and they finished the ritual while I was looting in the goblin place and I gave minthara the localization… succession of mistakes… after In act 2 I could recruit her as my companion with “no problems”… it was not my goal btw…newbie mistakes… I am more responsible now lol
Are you sure it's not Selune and Shadowheart? I think The Power is about the OVERALL theme of the game, so it fits for alot of things. Honestly a masterpiece.
10:51 - The Power (instrumental). Has anyone else noticed that this track's melody has slightly changed now? I love both versions, but there's a newer one where the humming chorus has a few added notes (chords? I'm not sure what to call this, but those humming notes are like in "Nightsong" now). Compare the track here with the track over here: th-cam.com/video/f_5aHf3saoY/w-d-xo.html (at approximately the 16 second mark) .
I can't help, but I find the music extremely repelling. It just sounds too slavic and at the same time generic (like some uninspired "epic" Two Steps from Hell track) to fit in a high-fantasy setting like the Forgotten Realms. They could at least have forced the composer to use some of Michael Hoenig's original ideas, for instance his main theme or instrumentation choices. This just fells absolutely out of place.
We all have our tastes and maybe it's just me enjoying the "slop", or maybe it's because through playing the game, you learn to enjoy the music (simple as) but to me most of those musics are awesome, may they be the ambient musics, the combat song with the vocals, or the cutscene stuff like the nightsong.
I feel like themes like the Dark Urge's, the Emperor's or (in a more low-key way) the Druid Grove theme show the extreme variety of music in the game and its ability to elicit powerful and ambiguous feelings. This is a "best of" soundtrack so the music here is going to sound calmer and more universally palatable, mostly if you only watch the first few songs
This transition between "The power" and "Nightsong" was simply perfection.
The Nightsong piece is so beautiful. Particularly in THAT scene.
The soundtrack and the game are amazing. :)
god, I know right?
"I AM RESPLENDENT!"
😭
Dream Walk is superb
Song of Balduran is so... amazing!
Credits version of the Power is amazing
Yes, I also like it a lot.
@@rennschnecke1 And the Choral version kinda chokes me up a bit.... genius score.
love how you add a little transition between songs thanks for that!
Can't have a "best of" list an not include Raphael's Final Act...
yeah feels like a crime

The harpy song is soo good all the music us done so well
Whenever I hear "The Power" I feel this song fits Astarion's quest so well. Its all about power. Moonlight (him) burning the flower ( tav ) etc etc
Are you sure it's not Selune and Shadowheart? I think The Power is about the OVERALL theme of the game, so it fits for alot of things. Honestly a masterpiece.
sounds like you ship it, ngl
to be fair, I didn't bring astarion on his own questline so I wouldn't know.
It's time to give Oscars in gaming
i love songs Baldur´s Gate 3
Bard Dance is sick
thanks
I swear BG3's soundtrack is 20 iterations of "that one song" and a boss theme song the boss sings himself.
55:31 The power credit song
I want to live reminds me of divinity II sound track
Damn this game has the best soundtrack since Lord of The Rings films!
what a game!
nine blades is my favorite
what a masterpiece of a game and music!!
absolutly!

Oh yeah!! The Bonnie Portmore song!! Is that the one you though of?
please. do you happen to know the theme song played throughout the announcement trailer? where the guy transforms into a mind flayer?

the game of the fking year
Game of the Century with a soundtrack worthy of Starfield.
Nice silent hill cover...
makes sense that Nightsong is the most replayed moment of this video.
well either nightsong, or one of the 15 different versions of the same song :(
@@phen6075 Which song is that?
One music missing and that is Raphael song.
The power credit song is really good the singer is amazing
Harpy Song
Looks like someone failed their wisdom save. (I did too)
