Late response, but yes! I think it's probably because of the coding constraints of video game scoring in 1995, much like early console games used 8-bit synths due to memory constraints.

@@dorian417 I don't know why this is called Kitchen it should be called Chapter 1 since even after leaving The Kitchen You will hear this Song all inside of The Carnovash Estate and I think it also plays as The Chapter Song in The Carnovash Estate I think
