I used to camp there with my buddies in the late 1970’s. My Dad actually told me about it and he was born in Collores, just down the road past town, in La Finca de Geño Lopez. The last time I went there was in 2022 when we visited my parents. My parents went with me and my wife and daughter. My sons played on the grounds in the 1990’s. I’m glad that it’s being kept up because when it wasn’t it was a mess. My buddies and I hauled out a few bags of garbage. Back then it didn’t have paved parking, in fact we were basically trespassing but luckily nobody caught us. We’re going back to visit my folks and celebrate my wife’s and daughters birthdays in mid January and will probably stop in to see it. It’ll be the first time for my stepson on the island and he wants to see as much as possible in about 5 days which really won’t be a ton of stuff but we’re planning to go back a couple of times this year and he’ll see more. Thanks for the video!

I loved the place. The guy that takes care of you is also great. It’s a pity that they don’t pour more money into this project. Thank you for your kind words. Happy New Year.
