I’m going into my third year, and I’ve only just been scraping by with the writing side of my course - along with covid it’s hard to get in contact with tutors - so i just wanted to say thank you for these in depth structure tips.
i just want you to know that this has really helped me. writing is not my strong point and i have been procrastinating hard 🤣 because i honestly didnt know what subject to talk about or even know where to start. but after watching your video ive realised what i know and what i can write about with confidence. thank you for this.

Dear Tom, I know your channel doesn't have a super massive following but these videos are beyond helpful for me. I am tutoring an international student in writing and she will be doing a fine art masters degree in the upcoming year. These videos have been beyond useful. Please do not ever stop uploading.
our supervisor has been off sick and we werent assigned another one so thank you for this! Would love to see even more videos about this as its genuinely the only creative dissertation help I could find on youtube at all!

Hey Tom, thanks very much for such an insightful and comprehensive video! I’m in gear 2 of a 10,000 word dissertation as part of a Culture Diaspora Ethnicity MA at Birkbeck College. My topic is The Role of the Black Female Image in British Advertising using a cultural texts methodology. I wanted to connect my dissertation to my art interests so that it could be somewhat creative. Your video has helped me a lot! Feeling more confident to just get on with saying it in a less complicated way.👍🏽😊
By the way, I did mean to say gear 2 (or second gear to be clearer lol). Even if you thought I meant to say year 2 that would also be correct. Keeping it simple…😊
