I think I finally figured out the correct recording settings on Jack's computer here in Florida. I don't know if you guys noticed it, but yesterday's video quality was kind of doo doo cheeks. ANYWAY, I've been getting a TON of comments asking me what all the differences are between the console version of Skater XL and the PC version of Skater XL. Now, there's the obvious answers (PC players get more maps, clothes, etc.) but what I wanted to talk about in this video were the actual physics mods of the game that covers more than just physics. The XXL mod covers physics and VERY important in-game options that literally make Skater XL feel like a new game. After making this video, it made me realize how big of a role mods play in the game, and I think it's only a matter of time until they come to the console version.

On stream today I heard that the head dev of Easy Day doesn’t work with them any more, so I’m gonna look into that because that doesn’t sound good for Skater XL at all.
100% without a doubt, Skater XL needs SOME SORT of difficulty settings for the game to survive. Whether that be a stats menu, a difficulty selection, whatever, it needs it. If the rumor of the head dev leaving is true, that might not be good for Skater XL...
The information in this video is probably common knowledge for a lot of you, but I know a lot of new Skater XL players watch my videos and I’ve been getting a TON of questions about “what’s the difference between PC Skater XL and console Skater XL”, so here ya go.

Its true, he left, or was forced out. And basically said consoles will never get stats menu becahse the guys in charge are "coming up with bigger better things" and we see what theyve come up with so far.
Joe schmoe “bigger better things” meaning shut up and switch gears to Skate 4 now that EA bought Easy Day. That was the plan all along. We’ll see if they try to force the ps5 on us.

With the big drop setting on you just have to push your sticks up and down on opposite sticks. So if you’re goofy and you do a big drop you have to hold down up on the right stick and down on the left stick right before you land and you will land it 😊

Actually I think kleptos stats menu is much better than xxl mod stats. Your trucks finally works right and I think it just skates better. Its the Best thing to use them together that you use kleptos stats and other settings from xxl.

watch videos on both and see what interests you more, its all down to personal preference in the end. but i will say skater xl is super smooth and fluid and has a massive community full of content creators, teams who do full length videos, modders making crazy gameplay mods, map mods, clothes, and anything you can imagine. session got a new update that looks pretty good and their modders make uh anime girl characters i guess? idk get both if you like skateboarding they both do things differently
