They really are. There are some issues with the trees being still as a statue, when in Reality they'd stop the train but at the very least lean a bit. the trains are completely obliterated a bit more than if this was real, but It's certainly more realistic than them just having a few dents.

Quite funny, but still far from realistic. In the accidents where the locomotive falls on its side and crashes into one or more trees, the trees would certainly not stand still.
