You kind of nailed it with me in this reading. I just made it to a certain title by the general managers, where I work. We have to be tested to get this title. To give a sense of background, it's in the fast food industry. But it's bittersweet. Because my own manager had already tested me (two months ago) and I made this title with her. I was even allowed into a preliminary competition because of my score with her. However, the lady testing me nitpicked everything I did and counted off for the most ridiculous things, so that I wouldn't qualify for the competition. Yet, she let other people (who did the exact thing I did) slide and didn't count off for those "mistakes" on them. She even came back later (after the cut-oof date. When I wasn't there) to test some other people, who were late entering the competition. So, those people got to be in the competition. And in the video footage of the official competition, I saw that those people were still making the same "mistakes" I made, but never got counted off for it. And some of their scores were worse than my preliminary score. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for those people and it's not their fault the judges were unfair. I don't want to take away from their joy and the prizes they won. Nevertheless, the lady, testing me for the preliminary competition, said that my title stood from the score my boss gave me (even gave me the pins for that title), even though I wasn't going to be in the official competition. She said that my score in the preliminary wasn't going to count against me for my pay, etc.. But....another general manager reversed that and said that I would have to be retested before I would get that title and the pay that comes along with it. So....I finally passed the test by this GM and got the title. But a part of me is hanging onto those feelings of anger. I don 't like feeling that way. So, I'm trying to just acknowledge my feelings and know that they are valid for me. But I have to let this go. Because so many changes happen in our lives and this is only a drop in the bucket of the grand scheme of things. Maybe this is a sign that I will have better things coming my way in the future and this won't mean that much in a few months. Like I said in the last post, I made a very hard decision because on the outside it look like we were a perfect couple but behind closed doors I was miserable. I did not wanna hurt anybody, but in sacrificing my happiness I didn’t even know who I was. I gained so much weight thought of offering myself. I was so depressed and miserable. Dealing with the IRS to get results of their investigation of 480 days to find the person who used my identity to cash a huge check that was never mine to begin with.
And being an identity victim my credit scores are locked, even I can't see them . Best solution for me to file bankruptcy to clean that slate.
